What it says on the bin

How Saitama is according to Genos: Utterly amazing with flaunting abs, incredible poses, possibly unequaled intelligence, the most exquisite existence in the world and inspiring speeches. 10/10 would bang.

How Saitama really is: I hate it when people ask me what I’m planning to do tonight. I don’t even know what I’m doing right now and I haven’t had a decent sleep since, like, five minutes ago. Also, stop staring at my head.

Welcome Home

*Genos returns to the apartment after a long two weeks of being away for repairs*
Genos: Sensei, I have returned. I apologize for my repairs taking so lon-
Saitama: *walks up to him, picking the cyborg up and carrying him to the main room*
Genos:???
Saitama:*sits Genos down, setting a new journal in one of the cyborg’s hands and a can of oil sardines in the other*
Genos:Sensei?
Saitama:…*lays down with his head rested on Genos’ lap.*
Genos:*smiles and sets the items aside, hugging Saitama’s head* I missed you too, sensei.

1 week, 9 episodes, and 80+ chapters later….

this story has a really good chance of ending badly for saitama

i am bursting with terrible headcanons

Genos: Sensei, we need to get rid of Sonic! He stole your food, stalked you for days and watched you from afar when you were doing your laundry!

Saitama: He did?

Genos: No, but are we just gonna wait around until he does?

Betrayal Scenarios🫠

The Hand-Off → a trusted ally helps them up, whispers “you’re safe”… then shoves them straight into enemy hands.

The Knife Twist → they’re mid-escape when their partner yanks them back by the collar, holding a weapon to their throat.

The Poisoned Cup → comfort offered in the form of water, tea, food — their body crumples moments later, eyes widening as realization hits.

False Rescue→ dragged out of hell by someone they trusted, only to find themselves delivered into another cage.

The Informant → whispers in the dark lead their hunters straight to the hiding place, footsteps on the stairs that should never have known.

The Restraint → begging for help to loosen ropes, only to have the knots cinched tighter by the hands they thought were saving them.

The Bandage Ruse → caretaker patches them up, cooing gentle words… then presses hard into the wound for information.

The Left-Behind → they run as a group, but the ally shoves them down to buy themselves time — leaving them in the hands of pursuers.

The Smile → after days of kindness, the mask slips — a smirk, a line like “did you really think I cared?” as the door locks behind them.

Forced Confession → lured into revealing a secret to the one person they trusted, only to hear it repeated back by their captors.

Turned Weapons → handed back their own knife, gun, or tools by a comrade — just before it’s used against them.

The Abandonment → eyes pleading as they reach for help, and the ally pulls back, muttering “I can’t.” Then turns away.

The Collared Friend → reunion turns sour when the “rescuer” slips a collar or shackle on them with practiced ease.

The Detour -> convinced by trusted friends that they're going somewhere familiar. Instead, they're turned in to the captor or admitted to a mental hospital.

The Mock Care → head cradled, wounds cleaned, reassurances whispered — until the caretaker leans close: “They paid me to keep you alive.”

Being forced to apologise when you haven't done anything stings so fucking much. It's unfair, it's irritating and it's saddening.

Whumper smacks whumper across the face and they end up slamming into a table, knocking something down. And they have to say sorry for it.

obsessed with whumpers who notice and get angry or frustrated or annoyed about whumpee dissociating. who know that they're zoning out or even know the specific word, regardless, and are not happy. whumpee is supposed to be here, be experiencing what's being done to them fully and horrifically.

so they find ways to bring whumpee back into the moment. do something to shock them into awareness - a different kind of violence, a sharp slap or a yank to their hair. touching them with something cold. forcing whumpee to look them in the eye, recite what's happening to them. answer specific questions about what they're experiencing. threatening another person to get a reaction.

whumpee is not allowed to dissociate from this. they don't get to check out.
