• whose defience was it really that Rickert was spared? Griffith? the Skull Knight? metalevel- the writer? who twisted/cheated fate there?
• if the Skull Knight's ritual had all 5 of the godhand and his sacrefice was his lover (based on that little glimpse in the manga) was it the Knight or Flora who killed one of the 5 (is interfearing with the ritual a taboo for witches as they are supposed to be observers more than participants?) or was the Knight himself a sacrifice for someone else (and paralleling Guts and Casca more and more?)
• like what is the Skull Knight's story????
• is the 5 posts/archangel fixed or is it always changing depending on the person taking up the mantle (Griffith becoming the prince of longing in the place of ?????)
• if Griffith is doing the parallel story as the Skull Knight before, is he planning on rebirth a 3rd time with the whole kingdom as sacrifice?
• Sonia being also a dead kid/bad omen would be a nice little touch but i'm just guessing in the dark.
• with the whole fate/places outside of time thing Isma cheated fate by meeting up with Guts and the gang but life corrected it at the end of the fairy island? or was Griffith personally offended by her existence as well and just errased her cause???
• Luca ending up working with Rickert at the end of all cause i think their combined sensibility would break the stories reality forming a protective bubble and i want that. this is not a musing i just love some side characters. they would be the GOAT in city/settlement management.
