idk this is how i sounded during my first internship so dont be too hard on her

LLMs produce outputs that are statistically likely based upon their training data, so I’m guessing this thing ate a lot of programmers’ frustrated and despairing posts and notes.

Getting caught in a loop where the LLM would repeat itself over and over was common in earlier LLMs…

…important to note that it’s not experiencing despair any more than it can experience what an apple tastes like. my guess would be that it “deletes its own work” because it has been tasked to “get rid of problem” and getting rid of everything gets rid of the problem?

but it’s a little worrying that people are using LLMs in any sort of way where they have the capability to like…delete stuff…?
