Quantum Leap really said "positive and diverse trans representation", and I must have missed ep 1x12 before and had the nerve to act almost surprised at how wholesome this episode was and how beautiful the storytelling was, until I remembered, duh, they also cast Mason Alexander Park as a series regular, and really, this is such a good comfort show and it's a goddamn tragedy that it's been cancelled after two seasons

Absolutely devastating news from Australia that at least 11 people were killed in an antisemitic attack on a Hanukkah celebration in Sydney. One of those who was murdered, Alex Kleytman z”l, was a Holocaust survivor. His wife, also a Holocaust survivor, saw as he was shot. I cannot imagine the grief and pain she and many others are feeling.

My heart is with all the victims and their loved ones, as well as the broader Jewish community in Australia. May the memories of the victims be a blessing.

We deserve to be able to congregate and observe Jewish holidays without fear of violence, in Australia and globally.

I also want to commend the courage of Ahmed al Ahmed, a man who happened to be walking by when the shooting began and rushed to disarm one of the shooters, despite being unarmed himself. Ahmed is the owner of a fruit shop and a father of two. He was shot twice during his brave intervention and is now in the hospital. I am praying for his swift recovery and the recovery of all the others who were injured in this attack.

Dave Franco is on to something: the second movie should have been called “Now Two Don’t” and the third should be “Now You Three Me” and then “Fourence Welch and the Heist machine” and after that, “5 guys 2 girls and a pizza place heist” and “the sixth sense (of magic)” and “the 7 deadly sins (of crooked accounting)” and “8 crazy nights (of magic heists)” then “now you see me 9: the edge of reason” and “fas10 your seatbelts: jason statham car chase cameo”

i want them to keep making those magician movies. like fast and furious films, i want there to be an improbable number of 'Now You See Me' films which get more and more abusurd as the fanchise goes on. at some point they go to space. another time they race cars. this must carry on for at least twelve movies, ideally longer. if possible there is a spin off tv show which is a critical and commercial failure. Jason Statham has a cameo.
