Instead of doomscrolling, download Google Art and Culture and just follow your curiosity. Curate a vibe and develop taste by actually looking at art and culture, not just what's served to you on the algorithm

(I know Google has its downsides, but this replaces doomscrolling)

On the other side of safety and convenience is an opportunity to meet a greater version of yourself. An opportunity to meet and build upon strengths that would otherwise remain underdeveloped and unrefined.

Discipline, resilience, steadfastness, critical thinking, problem solving, ego destruction, perseverance, these are the foundation of building grit. They build an internal confidence that requires no external validation nor is affirmed by it.

And they are all uncomfortable. You will be frustrated, feel irate, experience inner resistance. And every single second of it is priceless for the outcome.

“A library, no mater how humble or grand, is a series of sacred gateways. You pass through them and leave your own city behind; you journey through time and space; and for a little while, you escape the confines of your own circumstances.”

— Anthony Doerr, Cloud Cuckoo Land
