Omg… As someone who is also (horrendously) near-sighted, I can totally sympathize with this lol! It becomes something you’re so used to that you don’t even question it anymore. If I hadn’t been told I was near-sighted I can definitely imagine thinking everyone’s vision was like that hahahh.
I have several OCs with varying degrees of visual impairment… Probably the most dramatic example is Dances-With-Her-Shadow, my Argonian from Elder Scrolls Online, who had one of her eyes removed when she was enslaved. It was replaced with a mechanical eye that allows her to see the auras of living creatures, even through walls.
