this year maybe we can literally never talk about gifted kid burn out or whatever ever again
the thoughts are nuanced. it supposes. childhood and the education systems that exist are abusive and traumatic to all children. it’s good to talk about it. but they are worse to some children and the “gifted” children are not the ones that had it worse. ever.
if the talk of gifted kid burnout was ever associated with attempts to build solidarity with other childhood experiences it would be far more tolerable to hear about
