gotta say hearing luke tell percy that annabeth is head counselor of the athena cabin and the cut to annabeth herself—my mind instantly went “what??? how??? she’s twelve???” like I KNOW she’s head counselor. I’ve known since I was in second grade. but actually SEEING a twelve year old child being put in charge of a cabin full of teenagers rewired something in my brain. and that’s how I know seeing these kids fight is going to break me

Things i’m looking forward to the most in part 2 of totcf novel:
1. Reincarnated Lee Soo Hyuk.
2. Og!Cale’s life story before getting regressed and being sent to Kim Rok Soo’s body.
3. Whitestar’s backstory.
4. Choi Jung Soo and Choi Jung Gun.
5. Cale becoming the “chosen one” of GoD.
6. Cale and Fredo’s future interactions (coz i have a feeling Fredo has a big role to play in the hunters arc).
7. Cale’s fam restricting his actions and forcing him to rest (Cale fo sho, left them traumatised).
8. Alberu kicking some noble and royalty ass (yes im talking about the bastards and bitches who didn’t do shit during the whole war against whitestar but came up to gobble what was left after the war)

I just notice...
That Cale first ancient power "The Indestructible Shield" represents both the Henituse Family and the Thames Family.
Like the Henituse symbol is a turtle that prioritize their own safety, protects themselves with their own shell. It is similar to the indestructible shield that prioritize their owner safety by protecting them with the "shield" kinda like the shell of the turtle.
And the Thames Family symbol is a tree (I am considering that the Thames Family symbol is a tree because of the "Annual rings of life" and everything that we know in the Thames Family is just connected to a tree). And the Indestructible Shield can also control trees and first it was a blackened tree before Cale obtain them.
It really represents Cale's lineage.
Is this a coincidence? Or the author is foreshadowing the Thames Family from the start?.

As much as I hated, and I mean HATED, the bastard, I’m honestly gonna miss White Star.
He was literally the worst but at the same time he was such a good and hilarious villain and let’s be real every interaction he had with Cale was straight up iconic. The slap, the rock, the arm, the destruction of property, the rock, the embrace, the self scamming. God those were the days.

So. This is my take on Western Continent map. I based it a bit on what PAN drew for webtoon (chp. 35). Took some inspiration from map posted on TCF wiki by Yatoen. And obviously took all the information about the geography from the novel and wiki.
notes:
- this is obviously an assumption about Western Continent as there’s no official map, so take it with grain of salt. Especially Kingdom’s borders as I was just kinda making stuff up; also I’m not cartographer, this is just a for-fun project
- in novel only Roan and Paerun have their capitals named, so only those are on the map;
- aside form Hais Islands there are no other mentioned islands, but I put a few just for flavor;
- there are no rivers mentioned in novel, but I put some for flavor;
- i didn’t put on some locations such as territories, because it would be unreadable; but I do have a plan to make more detailed map of Roan
- technically The Jungle has sections, but since only three were mentioned in novel and we have no idea how the jungle is devided and how bug sections are, I decided to not put it on.
(i also noticed that western continent sounds so grim with all despairs and death regions, like if I was a traveller if I only had those landmarks named idk if I would travel there lmao)
i also have plan to make ancient powers locations map and indomiatable alliance war -battle map tho, it sounds like fun
