batman fans will be like "I liked 1 of his 50 ongoings this month, we are SO back"
oh miss ivy 🥀
you can’t help but wonder what comics would be like if comic book writers considered women to be people
“He would not fucking say that” except its the badly written source material so he did, in fact, say that
“it’s not that deep” it’s not that shallow. now what
im always saying this
aloof unapproachable frigid ice queens with inarticulable desires
By god the writing for this series is so uneven. Prev issue one of my faves in a while, this issue is like *he would not fucking say that meme* she would not fucking contemplate collaborating with the police to greenwash survelliance
like obviously she doesn't end up collaborating with them and the point is to criticize AI but when she's like "what choice do i have?" ma'am you are literally poison ivy you could make vines grow out of the ground and choke this guy out any fucking second. The only reason her getting willingly arrested made sense to me is I thought she was actually going to try to rescue Croc (so, like, has that plotline just been dropped...). not as some lukewarm symbolism bullshit that she immediately tosses to the side. also like i know ai water usage is really bad but i'm gonna be real everyone is talking about that and i don't really feel like reading about that in a comic like can we give her bigger environmental fish to fry. and also since when is poison ivy like "oh no my rage got the best of me, i shouldn't have choked that environmentally destructive woman out!" like let her be an unrepentant supervillian PLEASE
@poisonpammy no literally it's so funny how gww clearly has no knowledge of environemntal issues, not to say that i'm an expert but honestly all the more a sign of her lack of knowledge if it still feels glaring to me! like girl you are on issue FORTY of this comic, i feel like we could have put even an ounce of effort into learning anything about the core of our main character's moral compass by now
"don't assign human morality to non human things" is so true except when it comes to printers. they know what they are, they understand dilemmas and ethics and morality. they choose to be how they are, they choose to be evil, at their very core they are rotten

small harleyivy moment from sensation comics #2
To update this, the astronaut didn’t actually do it, she and her wife were getting a divorce and the wife plead guilty to lying to the feds about it
And framing your ex for a crime mid-divorce while they are actively in space is some Agatha Christie level shit
lesbians winning against 100% of all space false crime allegations
