The very excited blonde lady owns the resort where this is taken. She’s super excited because this is the closest they’ve ever come in before. Everyone else is less excited because this was taken crack of dawn; when blonde lady realized how close the whales were coming, she ran around waking everybody up to see it.
Destabilizing hum? Tell me, when the lights go out for days at a time in the whole country, is that stable? When hospitals are so broke patients have to bring even the alcohol and gloves for doctors to actually attempt treatment, is that stable? When diabetic patients have to be given IVs of fucking SODA (one called frecolita) because there’s simply no insulin available, is that stable? When the water supply is so bad people have to get bigger water tanks just to store it in the few hours of the day it arrives (and sometimes after a week), and then struggle to use it conservatively, in the cases they can’t afford the dubiously obtained water sold by old water trucks you have to manually stop like a bus, is that stable? When neighbors have to join forces and collect enough cash to buy a power transformer from the black market after the one for their neighborhood exploded a week earlier leaving everyone in the dark, is that stable? When the national currency is so unbelievably unstable people would rather use US dollars, which need to be almost brand new bills and used with extreme care because if it’s just slightly worn out no one will take it and you’ll have effectively lost your money, is that stable?
Man, you people truly don’t understand how bad things really are.
