I still listen to music on tape. I’m not sure if my younger brother has ever touched a tape.

He collects retro technology btw. One of his hobbies is buying old computers and keyboards from thrift stores and trying to repair them. And there’s still things like this where he’s like how do I operate this and I’m like you forgot to rewind the tape.

Only six years between us. What a difference six years makes I guess.

Am I the only one who doesn’t think we need an end update? Outside of maybe adding a few more stone variants to End Stone, the end is kinda not designed to be revisited and resource managed the way the Nether is.

The fact that the portal can’t be moved, the fact you die and lose your inventory if you fall into the void, the fact you respawn at home when you exit, the fact it’s so far away from spawn… it’s just not somewhere people are going to routinely go unless it’s to get elytra and defeat the ender dragon.

Also, I just really like the fact that the end is made up of concentric rings of floating islands that get thinner and thinner the further you go out until they reach a glitched state.

I think this sort of existential eldritch horror of how the end is made up of these rings is just so very… Minecraft. Like, the mystery of this place is what’s fascinating, not that elytra exists. This is the closest thing we have to the far-lands still existing in the game. I don’t want this updated or removed.

Give me a few end stone cut variations on the stone cutter and I’m good.

So for those unaware of the latest Minecraft snapshot we have THESE FUCKERS, called "The Parched. "

And like... First If you really wanted a name like that, they're skeletons and "The Parcher" was RIGHT THERE

But secondly these hoes are also now teaming with husks with SPEARS on ZOMBIE CAMELS

They're technically called "Camel Husks" but that's not important. I'm also not upset at this, I'm just being dramatic (on my theatre kid shit).

But that's not what I wanna talk about.

MOJANG, I WANT A NEW STRUCTURE.

Since the Husks and Parchers (I will forever call them that as it's just better imo) have evolved both to ride camels, zombify them, AND not burn in the sun, it would be so fun if they were also organized enough to have some sort of fortress.

Now I'm not talking about a proper fortress bc that just sounds... Very meh, but a small camp set up where they can be located at. Perhaps something akin to a village surrounded by a smaller Pillager outpost. Like a two story tower w/ some sandstone huts around it or something. I just think it would be neat to see some of the undead be a little smart. Idk, I just like the idea.
