haha yes!!! i think it’s really fun because chloe is essentially bringing on her friends, and those familiar dynamics are always the best to watch imo (it pains me to endorse sports-adjacent content tho). chloe is 100000% going to be on taskmaster i can feel it

googledrive limits the amount of playbacks on a single video every ~48 hours, so there’s nothing i can do if a lot of people are trying to stream the same thing :( one thing you can try is from the options choosing ‘make a copy’ or 'copy to my drive’, which will copy the file to your own drive so you can stream it there. otherwise you can download anything to watch it even if playbacks are exceeded!

i’m replying to this because i’m putting together an updated taskmaster & traitors contestant wishlist since it’s actually been over 2 years since i posted one!

bill bailey is a huge one for me, but it feels impossible that some of the really respected senior comedians like him, vic reeves, and harry hill among others haven’t already been asked… dara, for exampled, talked about mulling over the invitation for years, so i tend to think most of these really big names have probably turned the show down (like david mitchell) — but ofc my hope is they either change their minds or their schedules finally allow it! because seriously how have we not had vic it’s killing meee

as for chris mccausland, i think anything is possible because taskmaster has such a reputation for inclusion, but i really can’t see the production designing 50+ recorded tasks and 10+ live tasks that accommodate someone who is nearly totally blind — and, frankly, i wouldn’t trust the fanbase to be presented with that series. like, that would alter the format of the show in a way that i think people would be really mean about, honestly. just seeing how some fans responded to paul sinha and rosie jones, for example, who had mild mobility limitations… i think you get it. i could definitely see him being part of a one-off, whether it’s nyt or something else!

jimmy carr has said he’s been asked before and couldn’t make it work with his touring schedule but tbh no viewers really want him on the show (or any show) atp. but i’ve been an alan carr defender since the day i was born, i need him on everything, alan x straight man (romesh, kevin bridges, whoever) is one of my fave things, and he’s a standup legend like GET HIM ONNNNN that’s my POOKIE

yes i love herrrrrrrrr and i do think she has a great shot of being on in the next few series! and i think she’d have a fun back-and-forth with greg hehe how good was she on qi this series!
