When I was drunk one night and watching the Jellyfish livestream, I reached out to the Monterey Bay Aquarium with a dumb question about their jellyfish... And they actually emailed me back.

(yes, these are actually my own screenshots, I am in tears laughing)

DO YOUR ANIMAL EXPERTS HAVE TO UNTANGLE THE JELLYFISH

AND THE ANSWER IS FUCKING YES, THE JELLIES GET TANGLED SOMETIMES LMAO

How could the Four Sword work if you consider the game mechanics?

And how can that development work in a written form?

So, for this post, how do I perceive the Four Sword games with the connection of the Four Sword and its power. The games are not all directly after each other in the timeline, but for this, we assume that they are, and that the Link from all three games are one and the same. First Minish Cap, then Four Sword, and last but not least, Four Sword Adventure. How does the sword work in the game and how can it be interpreted into a writing form.

Where does Hyrule live?

So, I wanted to look through the comic again to study Hyrule a bit more. A few minutes in, having written my first few points about him, I came across this comment from his.

This is from Malon Part 1 and basically they are commenting on Time and Malon's home. Here, I am talking about the speech bubble on the left.

Now Hyrule's opinion is "This beats a castle any day". At first i thought, 'oh yea, he already visited the castle before, it's kinda unavoidable as the hero'. I can see a cosy home on a farm being more comfortable for Hyrule instead of a castle.

But then I thought a bit more about it. Why would he be making that comment regarding a home? Doesn't Hyrule live...wait, where does Hyrule live?!

Über die Stränge spielen

Eine Tales off the Script Kurzgeschichte

featuring: Sretnik und die Strippenzieherin.

Vorschau:

the whole 'nobody would miss me if i were gone' line of reasoning is so completely and mindblowingly false, it's almost laughable if you take a couple steps back. there's a lady at work who has been there for maybe two or three weeks and has only talked to me a handful of times, ask where the necklace i usually wear went. another person asked where i was cause i wasn't scheduled for about a week. i regularly think of friends who have deactivated their accounts or who i've lost contact with and what id tell them. i still think about people i haven't talked to for years even though i didn't know them well. people still think about you even if you're a passing specter on the street. and that's not even holding a candle to how much the people who are personally involved in your life care. people do notice and care. all the time. it might be hard to see it or remember it but people do care. ily.

Flying or Sleeping, is there really a difference?

A Linked Universe story, featuring Triple Threat.

Summary:

Nights were supposed to be spent sleeping. Not fighting or adventuring, simply sleeping. It was a shame for Legend that his friends had different ideas about what sleep meant. Apparently, causing him a headache was one of them.

Sleep, like hunger, is a natural yet unpredictable visitor. It’s no surprise that he, like many others who have endured life’s trials, struggles to process and accept their experiences. These memories often seep into daily life, affecting even the simplest things, like sleep.

He would say, having traversed countless kingdoms, saved many, and ventured into places he might regret, that he’s had his share of experiences that still need acceptance and release. With these thoughts and feelings, Legend is familiar with the drowsiness that comes under the sun when the moon denies him sleep.

But now, his mind and dreams are unburdened by past memories. He slept soundly under his covers, or at least he would have, if not for the heavy footsteps and suppressed giggles that woke him.

Vio Link Analysis

This is an analysis of Vio(let) Link from the Four Swords manga. Link to the other parts, along with a more in-depth explanation of what this post is about.

Personality:
Calm, collected, sarcastic, and highly intelligent. Vio is the group’s strategist, always thinking several steps ahead and analysing situations carefully.
Behaviour:
Early Attitude:  Vio is initially reluctant to work with the others, often acting superior and insulting them directly or indirectly. He preferred to act alone, because he thought the others were underneath him in sense of knowledge.  Relies on his intellect to solve problems.
After the Betrayal:  Despite his betrayal (which was actually part of his plan), the group quickly forgave and accepted him back. He feels some guilt, especially towards Shadow, for what he thought he had to do.
Later attitude: He realised that he was not the only one whose ideas could succeed, and that there was indeed strength in numbers. The failure of his plans, his near-execution and being saved by the other Colours humbled him immensely. His interactions with Shadow also showed him his own humanity and how to incorporate feelings into his plans. He now respects his other three parts and wants to work with them actively.

Red Link Analysis

Personality:
Red is optimistic, innocent, and deeply emotional. He somewhat embodies the heart and emotions of Link, always seeking harmony and happiness for everyone. Red is gentle, compassionate, and quick to forgive. Despite his kind heart, he also has a mischievous side.
Behaviour:
Early Attitude: Red is initially somewhat unsure of himself(as what to do in different kind of situations), lacking confidence and often accepting blame or mistreatment from Blue. He’s eager to help and support the others, even if it means putting himself at risk. Red’s optimism and innocence make him vulnerable, but also endearing.
Later Attitude: Red becomes more confident and assertive, standing up for himself and taking initiative.  Red’s bravery grows, he faces dangers head-on, not just for himself but to protect those he cares about. He also becomes more emotionally resilient, able to recover from setbacks and help the group move forward. He doesn’t burst out crying anymore, but a few small tears here and there are still spilled.
