same thoughts of lunar by hotel pools. i really like the way the beginning of the song is and i wish the song had a bit more of that. still pretty good
Aquatique starts out and you are like “ok, this seems like a good enough song”. When 1:47 comes along and you hear your first steel drum sounding ping, you are like “oh”. Then by 2:00 you realize you are listening to a gem. vronskyfein42
A thoroughly beautiful journey of a track. Full of the characteristic warm, relaxed sounds I've come to expect from A.L.I.S.O.N., this track in particular drew my focus. I don't know enough actual musical terminology to describe what I mean, but the interplay of melodies here is unique and lovely. The entire discography is sublime, and it's excellent music for writing novels to. Jamie Carr
The synthwave duo balance glimmering ’80s nostalgia with driving contemporary grooves on this Bandcamp-exclusive release. Bandcamp New & Notable Dec 30, 2025
I got into synthwave for its potential to take everything that was good about the 80s and make it fresh. Out of everything I've heard so far, you out-80s the 80s like no one else. You not only capture the soundscape, but something that's hard to describe. As much as I love the melancholy nostalgia often present in this genre, what really gets me is the sincere, childlike excitement about the future and sheer COOL of the era that's in short supply in today's real life cyberpunk dystopia. toebee
