Note: “Creative Cloud Pro” is the new name for the “Creative Cloud All Apps” plan.
Adobe apps are everyone’s favorite creative apps, myself included. But if you don’t qualify for a student discount, the monthly fees can feel too high. To test them out before paying, the Adobe Creative Cloud free trial gives you 7-day access to everything Adobe offers. If you don’t need any guidance (you probably don’t because it’s so simple), you can jump straight to the free trial here.

How to get the Adobe Creative Cloud free trial
If you’re an individual (or a student), you can get 7 days of the Creative Cloud Pro plan for free. Here are the steps to do it.
- Open Adobe’s Creative Cloud page.
- Click the blue Start free trial button.

- Select one of the three subscription options: Monthly ($89.99/mo), annual billed monthly ($59.99/mo), or annual prepaid ($659.88/yr; equivalent to $54.99/mo). You can also add a 7-day Adobe Stock free trial.

- Create an Adobe account or sign in to your existing one.

- Enter your billing information and confirm.
Just like that, you’ve started a Creative Cloud free trial. Now, you just need to download the Creative Cloud desktop app and sign in. Then, download any Adobe app through the app. Here’s what it looks like in action.

After the trial ends, you will be billed based on the payment plan you chose: $89.99/month for the monthly plan, $59.99/month for the annual plan, and $659.88/year for the annual prepaid plan.
Adobe apps also have their own trials: Adobe Express (30 days), Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Acrobat Pro, Lightroom, Photography plan, InDesign, After Effects, Animate, Audition, Dreamweaver. Substance 3D and Adobe Stock are not included in Pro, but have their own free trials.
How to get an Adobe Creative Cloud student free trial
Students can get the same free trial as individuals, but they need to complete a few extra steps. For full details, you can follow the steps above, but here’s what’s different.
- Go to the Creative Cloud page and click Start free trial.
- At the top of the popup, select the Students and teachers tab. You should now see the discounted subscription plans.

- Create an Adobe account using your school-issued email address (ending in
.eduor.k12) to get verified immediately. If you don’t have one, you can prove your eligibility with a tuition bill. - Enter your payment details, confirm, and download the Adobe CC desktop app.
As a student, you’ll be billed just the same after the trial ends, but at a discounted rate. You will only pay $19.99 per month for the first year of your subscription.
How to get an Adobe Creative Cloud team free trial
Teams of up to 10 members get a longer 14-day free trial of the Creative Cloud Pro plan. It includes access to all Adobe apps, plus special features for teams, such as an admin console for managing licenses, 180-day version history, and 1-on-1 expert sessions.
The steps to start the trial are also similar to how individuals do it. Once you open the free trial page, you will select Business at the top of the pop-up.

As a team, you don’t have the option of a monthly plan. The only subscription is annual, with the option to be billed monthly or upfront. Both cost the same monthly: $89.99 per license.
Select the number of licenses you need from the dropdown below. For more than 10, you need to get a custom solution. Also, the price per license doesn’t get lower if you pick more. So if you choose 10 licenses, you will pay $899.90 per month ($89.99 × 10).
