Adobe Stock is an excellent product, but its pricing can be somewhat complicated. With different tiers and subscription lengths, there are 13 different plans available here. Here, I’m going to outline every single Adobe Stock price plan and highlight the best deals available.
I rate Adobe Stock as the best stock video site overall. It offers tons of royalty-free footage, images, audio, and 3D, up to $10,000 indemnity, and had zero major usability issues in my hands-on testing for my Adobe Stock review. Combined with excellent integration into all Adobe software, it’s the best choice for almost every creative.
Just below, I’ve outlined the best deals for each level of subscription. To learn more about what you get and every price on offer, keep scrolling for the comprehensive info.

Adobe Stock pricing at a glance
To download an asset from Adobe Stock, such as an image, you need to purchase a subscription or a credit pack. Each will allot you a certain number of download credits. But the subscription and pack credits are not interchangeable (they do not stack).
| Content type | Subscriptions | Credit packs |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | $29.99 – $249.99 per month | $50 – $1,200 |
| You get | 10 – 750 standard assets or 1 – 25 videos | 5 – 150 credits |
| Best for | Ongoing stock content needs | Fluctuating stock content needs |
| Standard assets (images, templates, audio, vectors) | ✔ | ✔ |
| Videos (HD, 4K) | ✔ | ✔ |
| Premium images | – | ✔ |
| Premium 3D | – | ✔ |
| Extended License | – | ✔ |
In terms of quality and pricing, Adobe Stock offers two asset types: Standard and Premium. Standard files are the typical everyday stock photos you can use for blog posts, social media posts, and presentations. In contrast, the Premium files are better for high-impression corporate campaigns.
How much are Adobe Stock subscriptions?
Adobe Stock subscriptions cost between $29.99 per month and $249.99 per month for between 3 and 750 standard assets per month or 1 to 25 HD and 4K videos.

You can choose either a monthly or annual commitment, which is 20% cheaper than the monthly one. The only exception is the entry plan, which costs $29.99 with both commitments, but you get only 3 standard assets and no videos with the monthly.
The 10 Assets and 25 Assets entry plans are also free for the first month, and they are the best stock photo and stock footage free trials you can get right now.
| Subscription size | 3/10 Assets | 25 Assets | 40 Assets | 750 Assets |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly fee | $29.99/month | $69.99/month | $99.99/month | $249.99/month |
| Annual fee | $29.99/month | $49.99/month | $79.99/month | $199.99/month |
| Free trial? | 30-day trial | 30-day trial | X | X |
| Standard assets | 3 or 10 | 25 | 40 | 750 |
| HD/4K videos | 1 | 3 | 6 | 25 |
With the 3 Assets, 10 Assets, and 40 Assets monthly subscription plans, unused licenses will roll over to the next month for up to 12 months as long as your subscription remains active. For instance, if you subscribe to the ten-asset plan, you can roll over a maximum of 120 assets, while the 750 Assets plan doesn’t carry over to the following months.
On the other hand, if you use up all your downloads in a given month and need more, you can buy additional assets for the same price as your subscription. For example, with the 10 monthly downloads for $29.99/month, you pay $2.99 per additional asset.
How do Adobe Stock credits work?
Credit packs are designed for flexibility and are best if you want content like video, Premium assets, or extended licenses, which aren’t included with subscription plans. For standard photos and vectors, subscriptions will give you a better deal.
Similar to subscriptions, credit packs come in various sizes, from 5 credits ($49.95) all the way up to 150 credits ($1,200).
The larger the credit pack size, the lower the cost per credit—a pack of 150 credits gives you 20% savings compared to purchasing assets one at a time.
- 5 credits – $49.95 ($9.99/credit)
- 16 credits – $149.99 ($9.37/credit)
- 40 credits – $359.99 ($8.99/credit)
- 80So far, alledits – $669.99 ($8.37/credit)
- 150s – $1,200.00 ($8.00/credit)

With a credit pack purchased, you get a certain number of credits, which you can trade for any asset on Adobe Stock. Different assets have individual planss.
- Standard assets: 1 credit
- Videos (HD/4K): 8–20 credits
- Premium images: 12–50 credits
- Premium 3D: 2–10 credits
- Extended license: 8 credits
Note: these credit costs are not the same for subscriptions.

Aside from being more expensive than subscription plans, credits have another downside—they are valid for a year from the date of purchase (only 6 months in Japan).
How much is Adobe Stock for teams?
All Adobe Stock plans I’ve discussed so far are for a single user only—to share your assets with a team, you must buy a team plan. There are subscriptions and credit packs, and both cost the same as plans for individuals. (That’s quite surprising because I am used to team plans costing much more than plans for single users.)

Teams plans include all the benefits of individual plans at the same price, unlimited users, pooled licensing, license history, and a unified admin console. Team subscriptions also include Premium assets, which cost 48 or more subscription credits, depending on your plan.
If you’ve got more than 5 members on your team, you can request a Pro Edition. It includes unlimited downloads, the Enhanced License with each download, and even access to all Adobe apps.
How does Adobe Stock pricing compare?
Adobe Stock’s pricing structure is unique among its competitors, most of which have asset-based pricing. For instance, Shutterstock and Depositphotos have separate plans for images, video, and audio. But Adobe Stock’s pricing is much more creator-friendly—you get everything with one plan.
Of course, the full picture is a lot more nuanced. There are also differences in the quality and number of images, licensing terms, and customer support. At a glance, here are the differences in pricing:
| Stock image site | Cost | You get |
|---|---|---|
| Adobe Stock | $29.99/month | 10 photos, vectors, illustrations |
| Shutterstock | $24.91/month | 10 photos, vectors, illustrations |
| iStock | $29/month | 10 photos, vectors, illustrations |
| Depositphotos | $24.91/month | 30 photos, vectors, illustrations |
| Envato Elements | $16.50/month | Unlimited downloads |
