hi everyone. I need help.

I’m at the vet right now with my cat Clyde getting a lump on his forehead checked that I was really hoping wouldn’t be anything serious but after the initial check up, the vet is also very concerned about him and needs to refer me to somewhere that I can get him a CT scan, and because of the rapid growth of the lump he does NOT recommend waiting on this. and the ballpark quotes he’s giving me for prices are absolutely terrifying me. Anywhere from $500 to several thousand.

So, im scared as hell right now and I want to immediately start trying to gather the finances im going to need to take care of him.

Clyde is only 3 years old he’s so young and he’s such a wonderful cat and he could have so, so many more years of happy life with me and I cannot stand the thought of losing him especially because of just not being able to afford to help him.

I will reblog and update with more information as I am able to, but I’m not wasting any time on this. I know im going to need help to cover the cost of his CT scan and whatever comes next, so please….if you can help, it would mean everything to me.

Update: got a rough estimate from the clinic this morning of $800-$1200 for the CT scan. They will be calling me back this afternoon to schedule. I’m going to take whatever their first availability is and if the cost stays in that lower end im already able to afford it but in case it creeps up into that higher cost i would very much like to ensure I have $1200 ready to go if that’s what I end up needing so that there isn’t any delay. The tumor is growing extremely fast and even in the last few days has started to cause swelling over one of his eyes and giving him trouble breathing as it’s pressing up against his nasal cavity :(((( im terrified to waste even a moment and let it get even bigger so im moving forward as fast as I possibly can.

Thank you so, so much for all of the help and support you guys it means the world to me and I wouldn’t be able to get him diagnosed this fast at all if I didn’t have this help. It means everything to me. Thank you
