People obviously have other reasons not to be into it, but I'm talking specifically about the Weirdness™, the kind that leads one to make a post on Tumblr.com about obtaining the in-story consent of fictional characters, which is a stupid concept in the first place since they're fictional and not real, and how the baby can't consent. You've seen that post, I know you have. That kind of Weirdness™.

The baby is a catalyst that makes the story happen for the actual characters, like the backalley, the booze, or the single bed in the hotel room. It might become a character later, if the storyteller wants it to become one, but during a kink scenario, it's just an object. You don't have to be Weird™ about it, I promise.
