Stanka Gjuric is a poet, essayist, actress, columnist and filmmaker from Croatia. She was born in Cakovec (North of Croatia), but today she lives in Zagreb. She published 20 books, and received numerous literary awards for her poetry. Stanka is a member of Croatian Independent Artists and Croatian Academy of Science and Art in Diaspora (Basel, Switzerland). With her first short film 'Ubojite misli' (Battle Thoughts) she gains International recognition.
