During the rehearsal, all of her tricks fail. She makes a fool of herself in front of the other students. She doesn't have time to practice. Suddenly, her mother appears in class with sad news. Lilly's grandmother has died. Now her mother has to take care of selling the house. She takes Lilly and her little brother to the old house. There, Lilly meets a stranger. Through this new friendship, she develops self-confidence and courage - also for her performance as a magician. Back at school, all of her tricks work.
