At the age of 14 he lost his right arm in an accident at work. The musical career of the Chilean Andrés Godoy seemed to be over. Years of depression and suicidal thoughts followed. Until Godoy, also inspired by the spirit of optimism in his country under president Salvador Allende, gradually found his way back to his instrument. The dark years of the dictatorship under the Pinochet regime led him to develop his own technique, first in hiding and then in exile. On a long and difficult path to himself, and despite various other obstacles, he became what he is today: an internationally acclaimed guitarist who impresses while still having to fight against the prejudices that "disabled people" have to live with. His life story is the focus of this film, which consistently intertwines Godoy's impressive music with what shaped it: the very art of losing. Written by
