Marie arrives, out of her mind with worry, frantically searching for her young son Samuel. Soon everyone is looking for the lost boy whom no one seems to remember. Was he swallowed by the flames or is Samuel frightened and alone somewhere, still in danger? Catching the eye of the journalists on the scene, Marie's story gives good drama which makes for syntilating television news. Her desperate search for Samuel becomes the media face of the tragedy and once her story airs, the public start pouring their cash into the relief efforts. This sudden spike in much needed donations does not go unnoticed by the exhausted aid workers. Still, there are some niggling cracks in Marie's story. Has she really lost her son in the fire? Does Samuel actually exist ?
