Witchcraft and Christianity don’t mix! You can’t be a Christopagan or a Christian witch! It is a sin of pride to think you can follow God and ignore his commands to not worship other idols and practice divination. I pray the scriptures you are reblogging from me lead you to repentance and that you stop following false gods and that you stop disobeying God.
And I do not say this as someone who has never interacted with witchcraft! I practiced witchcraft and called myself a Christian witch for about a year. I wanted control over my life, I wanted answers God was not providing, I wanted a way out of my suffering. All it did was make things worse. I say these things as someone who still struggles with the temptation to get out a tarot deck when I am confused and need answers, or the temptation to carve runes into a candle to cast a spell when I need something specific to happen.
This stuff is not worth your eternal life. I would rather follow God wholeheartedly than rely on myself or other gods to make my situation better. God promises to be with us when we suffer, even as he never promises to alleviate our suffering in this life. Magic and gods do promise to give us things and do promise to take away our suffering if we do x, y, or z. And they never uphold their end of the bargain. God promises us eternal life, resurrection, when we follow him. He promises to work all things for our ultimate good, when we follow him, and he has never broken that promise. Not that we can see in the Bible or in the lives of believers around us.
