Hi, what do you think C3 would be like in your country? . (Could you give me references to the myths of your country?)
Hmmm I’m not sure. It’d be easy enough to look like some random start-up or corporation that’s everywhere yet unknown in the USA. I imagine it might get a front as an insurance company or similar, but it’d be pretty hard to navigate without drawing criticism and scrutiny from a lot of people here for obvious reasons. Especially if they grab vampires or similar, it might considered too close to…certain “government agencies” here. Then there’s the way different state laws are set up, it’d likely be a mess of jurisdiction. Honestly I imagine it might be seen as easier to shut down a branch in the USA or limit it to fewer states to avoid legal fights.
In terms of myths, I’m not too familiar with USAmerican myths or myths of local indigenous nations (+ I’m not indigenous to any nation within what is now the USA so I don’t feel comfortable speaking on those).
The only myth I know well is la llorona which…I suppose she could be a vampire in Servamp universe. Perhaps a subclass of pride or melancholy, given the common story is she had children with a colonizer and he would abuse her, leading her to drown her babies in a nearby river. The way I learned, it was her way of saving them from him and his wrath. Depending on the version of the story, (my family tells both) she then drowns herself OR is drowned by the colonizer in his fit of rage (Which I suppose would be a fitting death for Hugh or Tsubaki’s subclass). Now it’s said she wanders along the edge of water wailing for her children or mourning her own death, and her wail is similar to some myths about banshees as the sound of it described to bring misfortune or in some cases death.
