Transfem self defense zine above

Good articles on transmisogyny and transmisogynoir for a more comprehensive and intersectional look at things. You can follow the author of the final one of these three (Position of Guilt: Black Hot Allostatic Load) on tumblr at @/storyweavingspider

PDF download link for an essay on transmisogynoir.

An actually good resource on transfem healthcare and HRT

A very detailed breakdown of terf rhetoric in queer spaces

Materialist analysis of gender roles that is pretty neat, I disagree with a few points in it here and there but it's interesting.

A good essay on the orientalism and transmisogyny in "decolonial" academia surrounding the hijra.

There's something to ponder about the phrasing of trans-inclusive feminism vs transfeminism ... the implications of it all. Merely "including" trans women in your feminism, like it's conditional, like it's even a question, vs My Feminism Is For Trans Women Especially

Moreover the vagueness allows for a lot of, like, trans People inclusive feminism ... feminists who agree transmascs should have reproductive rights but haven't even begun unpacking transmisogyny in a meaningful way. Still operating on subconscious bioessentialism. Or, sometimes, conscious bioessentialism, just quietly, being "polite"... seeing trans women as *welcome* guests in womanhood, as long as she's behaving how they want her to. Doesn't it all make you crazy

This is not a passing phrase or a trick to catch attention, but a final plea not to scroll past us as you would any other post. We are still trapped in Gaza, living between death that hunts us, cold that pierces the tents, hunger that exhausts our bodies, and a future that is erased a little more every day.

You say you are tired of the news, and we are tired of staying alive without a life. You say you cannot do anything, but the cruelest thing is to do nothing at all to keep scrolling as if our suffering were just content. Our children do not know what “ignoring” means; they only know shivering at night, crying from hunger, and fear that never sleeps.

If your conscience is still alive, do not skip this. Help in any way you can donate, share, raise your voice, and do not leave us alone in this hell. We are very close to reaching our goal, and our survival today may depend on a single click from you please don’t fail us.

Please help my dear friend Ghada, her family’s campaign is so close to being finished

please help us please share and donate if you can please don't ignore us❤️🙏

I think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to notice life with you. "taste this. look at that. hear this song." again and again. until you can't imagine noticing life without them.

You. Nsfw artist. Why do all of the women you draw have an hourglass bodyshape?

So yeah so, like, ultimately everyone who creates has the right and freedom to create whatever they want, whenever they want. It's fine. But, like, it's 2026. Why do all of the women you draw look like they could be Marvel actors?

Do you not want to at least broaden your horizons? Or, and I mean this with only a moderate amount of pre-emptive hostility, do you find it hard to look at fat women?

This isn't even. We're not even discussing the concept of BIG women. Why are all of the women you draw a size 4? Why are all the women with big boobs and big butts and---- six packs????? Why are they all thin! Why are all the thin women you draw busty? I'm not saying these women don't exist but they're also a fraction of the people you'll find in a crowd. Where is the rest of the crowd?!

You don't even really have to find women over 100 pounds attractive. You can find whoever you want attractive. But don't you want to do something a little different? Like. Draw a belly. A real belly. AND THE LOVE HANDLES, COME ON NOW.

I dunno it just kinda sucks. And I'm not even advocating for my body yet. My 240 pound, broad shouldered, small-tits big stomach double chin trans woman body. I'm just advocating for someone other than the Sports Illustrated models.

Sometimes you have to just give up on hating and start to respect that person who mildly annoys you

Hatred requires too much work for no reward, you kinda just have to let people be annoying or incorrect occasionally

Like hating someone who has hurt you is one thing, but hating a girl because you find her mildly rude, like that isn't needed

this is all to say, I want to try and be kind to someone

hey so bit of a weird question, sorry if it's obvious to everyone else i just need to know i heard that getting on estrogen, hrt, all that, is basically like going through puberty again and makes emotional regulation really hard, and i've been going through a nasty batch of depression recently, so i wanted to know if that's true or not? tldr: i'm scared of my depression getting worse if i do hrt, and wanted to know if it makes managing those feelings worse

I'm going to be honest with you. If you want hrt and are depressed, it's more likely hrt will help that. Like it won't cure your depression, but it'll make you deal with it better.

Get your hrt. For real.

I've only been on hrt about three weeks, and already my mood swings and depression have improved massively. I cannot express enough how much of a boon it is to your life.

the big three: big brown eyes, an indescribable amount of horniness and a generalised anxiety disorder

Daughter: You realize this puts you in the top 1% of the top 1%, right? The elite of the elite! That's extremely good.

Father: *glaring at his brand new "#272993 Dad" mug* I still don't like it.

Father's Co-Worker: *drinking out of a "#5122653 Dad" mug* How was Father's Day?

Father: *feeling smug* Pretty great, actually.

there's a type of person you run into who is very enamored with their own queerness and particularly how radical and countercultural and punk their own gender is, but who has still done very little work to unlearn the misogyny we are all drenched in from birth, so all that punkitude is overshadowed by a clear disdain for womanhood and women and often trans women in particular, although they are of course wildly offended if you point it out. and, like, such people are a minority in the grand scheme of things and have less power than the 200 shitty cis men that exist in proportion to him, but they still do have power over you as a trans woman, and also they just have that extra layer of annoying that comes with thinking they're more queer radical gender than you.

also these people are basically running the queer show on tumblr and have been since time immemorial and can and will evict a tranny if she so much as blips on their radar so i get to be pissed at them

person who assumes maleness as default and refuses to interrogate this: yeah this character has no gender, they're just a little Guy

you literally could not even make it past word two before calling me a man
