First story: I had to put my og down,but it was Covid, so they made me wait outside while they took him in to prep him. I was trying not to sob too loudly, when a man asked if I as ok. I apologised and told him what was going on. He then sat on the curb 5 feet away and said, I’m just going to wait right here with you. He said, you don’t have to talk or say anything, I’m just going to wait here. And he sat with me while I cried. I’ll never forget him.
Second story: When I was 17 I was crying because my dad just died and ent into the woods to sit in shock. My dog broke out of the back Yard and somehow found me and hour later and just sat there with me.
Third story: I saw the nurse watch my heart rate after they told me I’d have to be put under. I asked if there could be a woman in the room the whole time, and after talking to my psych, they ended up making my whole team women instead. I’ll never forget that, ever.
Fourth story: I’d never lost anyone in my life. Not a person, not a pet. My birthday is Setember 11th. My childhood cat passed away on September 12th. I knew she was sick, and I begged her for weeks to just make it to my 16th birthday. I know she held on for me. I know it.
Fifth story: My best friend of over 15 years passed away. He made me the beneficiary of his life insurance because he wanted to make sure he could still take care of me, even after he was gone.
Sixth story: Bad turbulence on a plane and I just reached out and grabbed the guy’s hand sitting next to me. He said, We’re okay, and held my hand until we landed. I never forgot it. End ID]

Me: Haha, silly body. Food is cure for hunger! Nap is cure for tired. I’ll take a nap and then I’ll feel better.
My body: You are feeling hunger. Feel that signal I’m sending you? Hunger. Put food in me.
Me: I’m too sleepy to think much about hunger. I’ll take a nap.
My body: Is it too late to swap? I want to be someone else’s body.
Me: A cup of tea will make me feel better
My body: PLEASE learn the difference between “appetite suppressant” and “food”.
I love this website. If I’d put this on Facebook I’d get a lot of unhelpful condescending people explaining things that the post already quite clearly states I know (“did you know that if you eat some food, it might help you wake up? Your body needs energy!”). Here, it’s just a bunch of people like “Same.”
It’s not just to have a “do over” that doesn’t involve the original cast, it’s to cut them out of the royalties. Literally the entire point is to make sure all the money made by Harry Potter goes to transphobes or people willing to work with transphobes.
If you watch it, you are supporting bigotry, hate, and oppression. That’s just objective reality. All for a story that you probably have already seen in movie and book form.
Likewise, the new all-star audio books featuring people like Keira Knightley, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Gomez, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and more, only seem to have happened because Stephen Fry - who did all the original audio books - said he thought she radicalised and “was a lost cause” (x)
