Honey Honey Skinblend

Hi everyone, Merry Christmas! I made you a gift! This is an improved version of my Honey Skinblend. This version has: prettier collarbones, smoother bodies, bodies match the faces better in terms of color, the nose is slightly lighter, and the lips are more matte. Also the two darkest colors are now less red-based!

There’s the usual 10 colors made with Trapping’s actions. I’ve made both the freckled and the normal version. I made defaults of the normal skin, both naturals and supernaturals. The natural defaults (S1, S2, S3 and S4) are pictured above - preview idea taken from @noodlesims.

Choose either the custom or GEN+TOWN version, you can’t have both!!

I made this skinblend a few weeks ago, it took me a long time to post it because when I was done with the custom colors I realized that the seams in the neck didn’t match the bodies so I had to remake all the SimPE work which drove me a little crazy ahah!

So the base in this is Leh’s “New Skinset” (face and bodies). For the faces I blended the usual eyelids taken from a skin by Trapping, nose is by Jirka and the lips are a very soft mix of Noodlesims and Moyseyblue. The only change I made to the bodies is I changed the collarbones! They are a veeery softened blend of Ephemera with the original collarbones in Leh’s skin. The custom skins come in 10 colors that I made using Trapping’s actions. These do have normal, fit and fat states.

I also made some defaults, both for normal and supernatural skins. They are all pictured here: so Brandy Broke is S1 which is the color “warmth”, Daniel Pleasant is S2 “beach”, Dina Caliente is S3 “sunheat” and Darren Dreamer is S4 “sunset”. The 5 supernatural defaults are represented by some cool Strangetown sims! The werewolf skin default was made by blending my skin with Astiees textures.

Maxis Improved - Expanded

After working on this forever, it’s finally ready to be released into the wild! Introducing 11 new shades intended to work with and bolster @talesofsimverse Maxis Improved and @drew-cricket‘s edit of @jawusa’s extracted castaway skintone.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I actually like the default Maxis tones and bodies! They’re diverse, cartoony, and they have a certain aesthetic to them. But those crunchy 2004 face textures? They gotta go!

I previously attempted this “update the maxis skins” idea with my old Smooth Faces, however, I don’t really like it anymore and I feel like I kind of half-assed it. So I remade everything completely from scratch!

Using Maxis S1 as a base, I blended parts from some of the best MM skins until I finally got what I wanted: a modern, maxis-match skin that stays true to the original game’s aesthetic.

These are only face replacements, but they fit in with both minimal cc and heavy cc maxis-match games. Included in the download is a merged package containing S1-S4, Alien, Zombie, and Plantsim.

I’m gonna be honest, this is the perfect skin to me, it updates the original game’s visuals while still keeping it true to the original game’s aesthetic. I’m super happy on how they turned out. Anyways, onto the download!

Back view @trappingsims2′s 3t2 conversion of Newsea’s Acid hair. I rather like this hair now, though I don’t think I’d have retextured it in the past. But someone must have a need for a side-swept shaggy mullet thing! Has Nouk’s wave texture blended in as well. Aged toddler to adult. Download
