yesterday I had the thought "visual novel for normal people" (?) and halfway through making this image (which I thought would be really funny) I realized it was completely meaningless

already the choice to say visual novel for normal people and then depict what could feasibly be a middle class white american man offering potato salad is a statement piece on what is considered normal to a [tumblr] user would people question it? or is this indicative of the demographics? furthermore the narrator possesses $20 on their person and uses military time who is this normal for? a teenager; is this their dad? or perhaps an amnesiac who just woke up with no memory of how they got there? to what extent can the player project on this narrator? is it the same for every player? so many questions. the man's layered knit v-neck is 80s prep fashion. indicating that his parents also had some wealth to their name is this a legacy? was this man a poser? why would he still emulate fashion from that time? does this take place in the 80s? the interior decor indicates that the house was built between the 60s and 80s. but the kitchen's lack of wear and tear means it was redone or just newly built. was the house's owner able to finance the build himself? with his legacy money? with the protagonist's $20? perhaps the goal is horror. should the player feel out of or in place? regardless. consider your claim debunked. this post is in fact meaningful

Ppl make fun of that genre of horny post where words are different colors but I actually think it’s funnier that this website even has customizable text colors, something most social media does not have, and that’s like the only thing ppl use it for

objection! back in my fandom blogger days i used text colors to demarcate which of the color coded characters was speaking i also used their names. but their names were color coded. for stylistic emphasis
