I want the Lizzie vs. Evrart drama SO bad. I want to know if Evrart was trying to get her to come back before the tribunal or if he really was going to put her in harm’s way like that. I want furious survivor Lizzie. I want her to go apeshit! Because like even if it wasn’t intentional it happened! To her! And Evrart put her in that powder keg with men he set up to die.

theres something here, about the Claires making a power play by trying to bend the company's violence in their favor against their own people and it backfiring in them losing Lizzie's loyalty and trust and in worst case scenarios her life

and like I will say again: they knew that the krenel mercenaries were violent white supremacists. they knew that at least one of them was a rapist, and that in all likelihood they all were. the case against Lely was built on that. the Claires knew how much danger Lizzie was in. the question is did they throw her to the wolves on purpose?

the most charitable reading of the situation is that they were trying to get her back before the tribunal broke out. that the Hardies were on the plate and she wasn’t. and even then it shows a real misunderstanding of Lizzie's character from the Claires, I think? Lizzie can’t stand them but she isn’t going to turn her back on the guys when the cops are in town

so in their perfect scenario they were counting on the RCM falling back out of Martinaise once they were unable to arrest the Hardies. Lizzie wouldn’t have been around if she wasn’t defending them
