yes! i have only one correction to make. the writers of The Social Network framed Mark and Eduardo’s relationship as an actual relationship. The literally named the scene in which Eduardo confronts Mark “the break-up scene”. Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg’s press junket for this movie was an INSANE 9-months of them telling the press that they basically had to fall in love with each other. Andrew Garfield SWOONS for Jesse in nearly ANY interview you watch, and vice-versa. “we lived together, and had lobster, and went to baseball games. I had to actually fall in love with Jesse for this to come across on-screen.” Andrew talks about how they met and he felt the need to protect him, about how he had to become Jesse’s boyfriend. Jesse talks about how grounded Andrew made him and how he missed him when they were in LA versus in Boston when they could spend every day together. Jesse literally asks him, “how did you fall in love with me on and off screen?” and Andrew says something insane like “there’s something about your face that brings about this well of joy inside me.”
