After the hell of the past two days, this reminded me of what America could and should be about. It’s a little pocket of hope when our administration is trying to extinguish diversity and community and basic human decency and replace them with fear and hate and division.
I bet bj’s mommy issues are insane like truly just mindbreakingly insane
I bet his dad was distant and sort of strict and worked a bunch of long hours at the hospital and I bet his mom was smart but dissatisfied with her life and marriage and I bet they were really close when he was small and they could cuddle and read short stories and poetry together but then he grew up into big gangly arms and legs and it wasn’t normal to be so close to his mom and his dad started taking more of an interest in him and he had to suddenly conform to a masculine ideal that he never truly wanted to embody while his mother retreated from him until college when he left for good and never let himself look back in any meaningful way
just discovered that the unexpectedly good pizza place beside where I used to live is permanently closed 😭😭😭
they were always soooo nice and the pizza was so good :((((
