the way outlast series gets seemingly endless praise with no critique of its homophobia and transmisogny is fucking insane. i still remember years ago someone posted an article on some gay publication website that went like ‘actually the guy trying to mutilate and assault the player is an empowering depiction of transness’ i WISH i was joking

barbcoop is one of the ships of all time because it’s so schrodinger-esque. their love wasn’t strong enough to withstand one of them ending the world and the other one being permanently scarred by its effects vs yes it was and they can find happiness with each other again. time is a weapon according to bud askins but so is love!! you’ve heard about till death do us part but what about the radioactive immortality and cryosleep time travel of it all!!!
