finn made a joke about noah’s trailer in a s5 interview and I fell down a rabbit hole…
I, like many people who ship foah, have noticed some sus happenings in the lyrics within many of the track’s on Finn Wolfhard’s debut solo album, Happy Birthday. (It’s a great album and you should give it a listen even if you don’t ship them!) I will be analyzing the final four tracks from the album as I believe they are about Finn & Noah’s relationship!

There are a lot of meanings this song has been attributed to have, in the BTS for the music video Finn talks openly for a bit about how it’s about the trailer channel he used to watch as a kid then in this article, he’s super brief, giving almost nothing? idk comment more meanings he has shared below cause I know there is more :)
I believe Trailers After Dark, contrary to what he is advertising it as, is about either about Finn and Noah’s first kiss/confession/their romantic first moments in their trailers while on set!
I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU LISTEN ALONG TO THE SONG! My thoughts are a littttle jumbled and the guitar does a lot of emotional lifting in this song, so it helps to listen to truly get the hidden meanings! :)
