Sorry this is so random but Vis a vis my bfdi human post another pet peeve of mine is givinfg the human versions of armless objects magical mechanical arms. FUCKING STOPPP YOURE BORING it feels like people cant even conceptualize having a disabled character so they use a copout that doesnt even exist in the real world. Most people w/o arms won’t even use existing prosthetics because theyre usually shitty and insufficient and people learn how to adapt to things. people dont need arms to live????? Get real???????

The thing annoying abt being into bfdi though is that a solid 50% of the fanart is badly tagged gijinkas from teenagers and like theyre allowed to have fun but im going to be an annoying old woman on my own blog when i want to look at golf ball i need her to be a golf ball shes a Fucking golf ball. Some human versions are decent even VERY well thought out to be sure but they are far and few between and as much as i like them i do just…think it removes some of the charm of how theyre all just thingies. Not to be annoying about this but the abstraction of having a talking ball juxtaposed with a personality and gender, particularly without any tired stereotypical indication of the latter, is the crux of the charm of bfdi. Its the cutest part about the series. It makes me so happy that theyre just little friends

Lol i cant fucking believe how hard i fell back into bfdi i love it so much. Only series where i can watch pencil (u know her u love her shes from grade 2 school supplies) lez the fuck out with a light switch from the wall. whatever!!!!!
