・do bad things to yourself for attention

・want to get worse

・think you deserve bad things to happen to you, even rape

・Self sabotage anything good in your life

・don't have the energy to be around people and "lash out" when you're overwhelmed

・till you sexualize yourself and are addicted to attention

In the middle of church I just though "wished I cut before coming here" and realized to normal ppl thats the equivalent of doing crack before a birthday party

Can people please stop alienating sheltered kids and adults for not understanding things? I grew up in a household where I was incredibly sheltered and not taught a lot so my only way of navigating the real world was through media, I literally had to unlearn homophobia by watching fucking anime. So I hate to see elitism like “wow you didn’t know these cruel atrocities happen and only know it from media? You stupid ignorant fuck.” Like,, not everyone had the loving and supportive household to teach them about such atrocities? Some of us are still trying to learn how to navigate the world when no one helped us and no one told us about this. Like I was not in a cult but there are so many people who escape cults and are shunned by the world for their “ignorance” when they did not choose that ignorance. Why can’t you people be caring and step up to help these people who are obviously struggling??
