I am Haya.26-year-old mother, born in the heart of hell , Gaza. Here, there is no safety, no food, no clean water. We wake up not knowing if we’ll make it to the night, and we fall asleep unsure we’ll see the morning. My little boy, Yamen, clings to me with innocent hope in his eyes. And inside me, another life is growing , a baby waiting to meet a world I can’t promise will be kind. I’ve never been someone who asks for help. I was raised to endure, to stay quiet, to carry my burdens alone. But now.. I’m speaking ,for the sake of my children. I started a small campaign from Gaza. Not out of comfort, but out of desperation. A call for help from a mother who refuses to give up. Maybe you can’t change what’s happening here. But maybe you can help me keep my children alive. Please don't leave me alone in this darkness🙏

My name is Mahmoud Yassin, and I write to you from the heart of wounded Gaza.

I am writing these words with a heart full of pain, after losing everything to this war — my home, my dreams, my sense of safety, and the future I once envisioned.

We now live under constant bombing and destruction, surrounded by rubble and ruins. There is no place to shelter us, no roof above our heads. My family — five members, including women and young children — sleeps on the bare ground. We wake up to the sound of drones and sleep to the sound of explosions. There is no water, no food, no medicine, no electricity… only fear and uncertainty.

Every day in Gaza is a struggle for survival. We fight to secure a loaf of bread for our children, a drop of clean water, or even a moment of calm — which rarely exists. I’ve seen things no one should witness: children pulled from under debris, mothers crying over their lost little ones, and young people buried without a final goodbye.

I’ve launched this campaign to ask you — whoever you are reading this — to extend your hand and help. I know times are difficult everywhere, but any donation, no matter how small, can be a lifeline for me and my family.

All I dream of now is to survive… to escape this nightmare, this war that has devoured our dreams and stripped us of our most basic human rights. I want to build a safe life for my family — somewhere far from the destruction, somewhere we can start over.

Help me give my children a chance… a chance at life, a chance at hope.

From the depths of my heart, thank you.

PLEASE READ THIS

My baby sister Soso is not doing well. Until recently she was such a calm and brave child, but now every little thing scares her to death. She barely plays anymore, she cries for food we don’t have and I can’t do anything to change that because of the insane inflation in our area in Gaza.

Donations have dangerously slowed down!!

I know everyone is struggling in this world and I’m not upset with those who can’t donate but I wish people would at least share my posts to increase our chances of survival. My family of 10 relies entirely on this campaign! We need crazy amounts of money for rent, for food, for medicine, for even an unstable internet connection. $100 a day isn’t enough to secure food for all of us, even though it’s a huge amount to give to a stranger. I truly wish what we’ve already recieved was enough 😭

I’m getting really scared now. If people stop helping us, we die. I don’t like it, I’m very embarrassed about it, but it’s the truth. Please don’t let us die. Please at least share this post if you see it.

June 1, 2025 - Women paint the Palestinian flag on the steps of Piazza Gramsci, in Orgosolo, Sardinia. [link]

We believe that in such a dramatic moment, such as the one the Palestinian people are experiencing before the eyes of the entire world, we cannot remain indifferent. Faced with the painful awareness of our impotence in stopping a conflict, we wish to express our dissent with the peaceful tools at our disposal.

DESPITE IT ALL, WE HAVE EACH OTHER

no matter how much hopelessness they corner us into, they cannot stop us from taking care of each other.

somewhere to start today is by helping nada, who is less than 40% of the way towards her goal.

please continue to share mutual aid, whether its in your own neighborhood or across the sea. please continue to find both what's urgent and what's beautiful in the world.

thank you always, take care.

My baby Qais is one of the 290,000 children in Gaza now on the brink of death. He was injured in an earlier bombing that struck our tent, but we had no money for proper treatment. Now, after weeks of hunger, Qais collapsed and was rushed to the hospital-his tiny body shaking from severe malnutrition. I am terrified. The UN says 14,000 babies could die in Gaza in the next 48 hours. Please, I beg you with all the pain in my heart: donate anything you can to help save Qais.

This is our reality now:

1. There has been a full blockade for over two months-no food, no water, no medicine.
2. Qais is too weak to cry anymore-his voice, like many others, is fading.
3. We were turned away once for not having money-now we are being starved to death in silence

I am a broken mother in Gaza, watching my child slip away. If I could sell my pain, I would. If kissing your feet or cleaning your shoes would save Qais, I would do it without hesitation. Please-this is not just a plea for help, it is a cry from a dying land. Donate whatever you can. Qais still has a chance-but only if you act now.
