HARU goes to a super hard, elite all-girls school and then has tutoring after. She does gymnastics and she's good enough to participate in competition. There's nothing she wouldn't do in the name of her convictions and principles and the people she loves, and violence is at the top of the list. She will hit you and challenge you to a duel and starve you and test you and capture you in the name of justice and doing the right thing and because she cares. She'll also become vongola decimo's wife as long as he's kind and cares and has his heart in the right place
KYOKO's her brother's strength and tsuna's bravery. She's ever-enduring support and ever-enduring comfort and ever-enduring trust. She's patience and understanding too, but more than that, she's ever-enduring faith. She will not doubt your love for her. You will come back to her and allow her to walk by your side down your path as long as she waits for you right where you felt safe letting her behind. But she won't allow you to walk too far away from her either. She'll be the first to make her way to you if she must
HANA's the friend who'll be by your side through thick and thin and won't ask questions about it. NANA's the one who raised tsuna to be the kind of person he is. And no, i'm not giving her all the credit for it, and yes, for sure we can criticize her parenting, but listen. Who else was even there to raise him if not her?? She also looks at all those kids she could have been scared of and turned away and judging and hostile towards, but she welcomes them into her home instead and makes it feel like it's their own too

I think one of the things that really gets me about Reborn is how no matter how high the stakes are, for characters like Tsuna, it’s always personal.
I’m one of those people where I much prefer personal stakes rather than world ending stakes, which I think is part of why Reborn is such a special show to me. For example, with Gokudera in the Varia arc, Tsuna stating that he doesn’t care about winning and just wants to watch fireworks with his friends again, and wants Gokudera to be there for it. Tsuna may not give a crap about the mafia but he cares so deeply for his friends that he’s willing to do anything to keep them in his life.
Daily life as well is so important for this. I remember being almost annoyed by it in the beginning, but when we get those few moments of Lambo and I-Pin being silly in the Vongola base in the future, it’s hard to describe the full wave of nostalgia that hit me in that moment, and I realized that I was like Tsuna. I didn’t care if they won or lost, I just wanted the group to be able to enjoy life together again
