Inspired by my favorite manga of all times: Yu Gi Oh.

Like, imagine a fight where Yugi loses Atem and all his friends. Even the real Bakura is dead. Only Yami Bakura remains, and he's being a shit-eating grinning pest. Always. And Yugi, who tried MANY TIMES to stay calm and give him grace, decides it's time for Yami Bakura to go to the Shadow Realm once and for all, and, preferably, with a shit ton of bruises.

Then, as the fight almost culminates in absolute despair, with Yugi facing the darkest side of himself, he remembers. He remembers that this is NOT what Atem would have wanted. Well, post-Season 0 Atem, at least. But most importantly: this won't bring back his friends.

So he looks at Yami Bakura, and for the first time, kindness turns into pity.

"I pity you, I pity me, I pity you". as the song goes.

I don't know what happens next.

But the heart of the cards always prevails, and love transcends nihilism.
