Bioskin Definition
(I've decided to officially coin and fully define what bioskin is)
Bioskin: a person who feels as if they are living the life of/as something without inherently identifying as or with something.
-Prefix + Suffix Meanings
>Bios- meaning the Greek prefix of "having the life of".
>Kin meaning the person or thing the person feels as though they are.
-Can someone be bioskin while being otherkin and/or otherhearted?
>Yes, identities can overlap and bioskin can be added onto another identity, but you do not need to be otherkin or otherhearted to be biokin.
-What things can bioskins have as their kintype?
>Literally anything. Animals, objects, sayings, places, etc.
-What is bioskin not?
>Bioskin is not "I'm XYZkin so I'm living the life of XYZ", just to clear up any confusion.
-Do you have to fully life the life of something to be bioskin?
>No, you can live partially to fully like the kintype to be bioskin.
-Do I have to have the appearance of the kintype to be bioskin?
>No, it doesn't matter what your appearance is, you can be bioskin regardless of your biological makeup or what you wear.
-Are you only able to have bioskin kintype all of your life?
>No, people change through their life, so kintypes can change.
-Can bioskins have more than one kintype at a time?
>Yes, bioskins can have more than one kintype at a time. (ex. a wolf and vampire)
-Is bioskin an voluntary and/or involuntary identity?
>Bioskin is both a voluntary and involuntary identity. Someone can naturally have the life of their kintype, or they can choose to live like their kintype.
-Examples
>Vampire: irritation to sunlight, allergic to garlic, the urge to consume blood, fang shifts, vampire appearance, etc.
>Wolf: the urge to hunt, liking to wear fur (faux and/or real), wanting to howl at the moon, etc.
