Is this the official Anakin Skywalker post?
Hot Take: If Anakin was just five crappy days away from murdering a bunch of children and burning down the entire galaxy so an evil wizard MIGHT save his wife who MIGHT die maybe he doesn’t actually know he’s just scared of the idea, then maybe, no, he doesn’t actually deserve to be a Jedi Master.
You need to be a minimum of fifteen consecutive bad days away from indiscriminate child slaughter to qualify as a jedi master
GOD, EVERY SINGLE TIME PEOPLE GET THIS WRONG. HOW DARE YOU. IT’S THREE WEEKS, NOT TWO WEEKS AWAY FROM INDESCRIMINATE CHILD SLAUGHTER TO QUALIFY AS A JEDI MASTER. 21 DAYS! GET IT RIGHT.
*yoda voice* when became a master, I did, 15 days, the rule was. Updated, the policy was not, until already a master, I was. Show you the original version of the employee handbook, I can.
no i’m not sorry
Obi-Wan: *text tone sound* Pardon me, it’s Anakin, I have to take this-
Obi-Wan: *returns to Council Chamber, heaves a sigh, makes a tally mark in a notebook* I’m afraid we’re going to have to really pick it up with the war effort, guys, if you still want me on this council by the time it’s all over. If this keeps up I’ll lose my master qualifications within the year
_
Ahsoka, who’s just read the employee handbook: Master Obi-Wan, how many bad days is your slaughter threshhold?
Obi-Wan: that is certainly a question, one that has an answer,
_
Ahsoka: Master Plo, may I ask what your qualifications are in regards to the handbook, section 2?
Plo Koon: I will only say that I am more qualified than Yoda
_
Ahsoka: Master Windu, what’s your-
Mace: 21 days exactly
A VERY SCIENTIFIC RANKING
(And not even all of them. Yarael Poof has known Yoda for literal centuries, has devoted both of his Quermian brains to this puzzle and is still ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ about it.)
(It used to be higher, but he has been Dealing With Being Friends With Qui-Gon for awhile now. Nobody blames him.)
(Qui-Gon only made it to 22 days because a) he never interacted with the children before Anakin and has a one-sided rivalry with Mace about having a Higher Jedi Master Threshold.)
(If she indiscriminately slaughters the other members of the Senate, given that they are a bunch of overgrown children, that counts, right?)
(Luminara Has Her Shit Together, okay.)
(Sometimes it goes as high as 30 days away! Only because Anakin took a two-week vacation that one time.)
(Look, he’s trying okay! He brought it up from 0 after that one bad trip to Tatooine! Progress!)
(Highest Jedi Master rating in the Temple, no, I’m not accepting arguements.)
(She’s almost ready to be a full Jedi Master! YOU CAN DO IT, AAYLA.)
(Adi Gallia is the Jedi’s Senate Liason. It says more about her that her threshold is so high than it does about the Senate.)
(Second only to Jocasta Nu, Kit Fisto is too laid back and easygoing to have a low number. Still can’t quite break her record, though.)
(Depa Billaba was trained by Mace Windu, he taught her everything he knows, she’s got this on lockdown. The only reason Mace himself isn’t higher is because he has to deal with more direct bullshit.)
(JEDI MOM!!!)
(Bonus ranking.)
At World's End textposts, it was the trilogy movie I rewatched the most growing up so it's no surprise I made more for it lol - pt: 1/???

I love animation history and one of the things that always baffled me was how did animators draw the cars in 101 Dalmatians before the advent of computer graphics?
Any rigid solid object is extremely challenging for 2D artists to animate because if one stray line isn’t kept perfectly in check, the object will seem to wobble and shift unnaturally.
Even as early as the mid 80’s Disney was using a technique where they would animate a 3D object and then apply a 2D filter to it. This practice could be applied to any solid object a character interacts with: from lanterns a character is holding, to a book (like in Atlantis), or in the most extreme cases Cybernetic parts (like in Treasure Planet).
But 101 Dalmatians was made WAY before the advent of this technology. So how did they do the Cruella car chase sequence at the end of the film?
The answer is so simple I don’t know why it didn’t occur to me sooner:
They just BUILT the models and painted them white with black outlines 🤣
That was the trick. They’re not actually 2D animated, they’re stop motion. They were physical models painted white and filmed on a white background. The black outlines become the lineart lines and they just xeroxed the frame onto an animation cel and painted it like any other 2D animated frame.
That’s how they did it! Isn’t that amazing? It’s such a simple low tech solution but it looks so cool in the final product.
TEEN WOLF 3.02, Chaos Rising
Touching on my previous post about born werewolves using body language to silently communicate, this scene is so wild.
This is Peter Hale. The Big Bad of S1, the perpetual "maybe, maybe not" bad guy the writers used as a backup when their main antagonist flopped. No one in the pack trusts him or even likes him that much. And in full fairness, that's pretty mutual. We all have our theories on why Peter would stay around the pack when he's hardly welcome, aside from his idiotic S4 villain plot. Mine personally is that even though Peter lacks morals, he doesn't lack affection or attachment. If anything happened to Derek or Cora (or Malia later on), he would be deeply, genuinely upset.
Anyways, my point is, he isn't friends with...anyone here. We can see it in the way he's never relaxed around them. He's never at ease.
But look at him here. He's sitting down, feet up, head back, neck exposed. Joking with Stiles, too. Not just being a dick but actually, good-naturedly teasing. He's so chill. Everything about his posture says that he's calm and relaxed in Stiles’s presence. When he said he liked Stiles in S1, he meant it. Stiles remains the only person Peter offered the bite to and also respected his refusal, too. If he wanted to keep hold of Stiles's arm, he would have, but he let go. Stiles is his favourite, hands-down.
Not just that, but when Stiles says he has a bad feeling about this (Derek and Scott breaking into the vault), Peter listens to him. No "you're being paranoid," no dismissal. Whether you ship Steter or not, the trust there is so important, especially considering how many times Stiles’s concerns are dismissed (*side-eyes the Everything With Theo*).
3A was THEE season of "Stiles is Hale-nip", the penultimate episode being "The Overlooked" of course.

arthur pendragon really heard some peasant twink unabashedly insult him for the first time in his life and thought to himself “i think i’m going to keep him”
To be fair he didn't exactly try to 'keep him' at first. It was more like 'court through combat'. His dad however in a singularly impressive parenting moment saw this peasant twink magically save his son and thought to himself 'I gift you this human who just did something miraculous ... but obviously not magical' and from then on Arthur thought 'He is mine and I keeps him'.
