about

These 7 tracks were composed, improvised and recorded between November 5 and 20, 2025.
Some of the musical themes on this album were imagined and created in the late 80's and early to mid-90's and were recorded on cassettes which have been lost to time so everything is done completely from memory.

Colors of Sunrise was originally recorded on a 4-track cassette recorder using an old Yamaha keyboard and a Cassio synthesizer my parents purchased for me in 1987.
The original version had lyrics and two of my friends from graduate school sang on the track. The instrumental version is much better.

Caribbean Summer, originally recorded on that old Casio keyboard around 1987, then revised in 1994 using the Ensoniq SQ1 synthesizer was called, if I remember correctly, Snowball.
All the drums and percussion were entered by hand, no loops used in this version of the track.

Summer Solitude was also originally recorded around 1995 or 1996 while living in Akron Ohio on the same Ensoniq synthesizer.

The Day's Last Breath was conceptualized in late 1997 and an ambient version is part of the second half of my 2013 album called Seeking Rest.
