Deleted Tomarry fics

I've recently set up a Google Drive folder linking up to many deleted fics. I have a little hobby of tracking down great deleted fics and downloading them for my pleasure, and I'd say I've gotten pretty good at it tbh. I didn't realize I have so many now, so I set up a drive folder and decided to make it public.

I have it organised by author, so hopefully you can recognize the stuff. I'll put the names of the authors in the tags, and you're def gonna recognize them. People on twitter are already freaking out about everything I have lol. (P.S. ever heard of yours, in murder by May Marlow? Read it. Cuz I got it.)

So please enjoy my library of recovered fics. I also take requests if you want me to find a deleted fic of some sort. Altho be warned, my area of expertise is tomarry, but I'm sure I could still track down a few fics.

Edit: Btw I'm still adding fics to this folder. So if there's anything you're missing out on I suggest coming back to check every once in a while.

I'm trying to get in contact with my Ukrainian publisher for more information but this is what I've found online so far:

Russia attacked the city of Kharkiv on 23 May. One of the Russian missiles hit the workshop at Vivat's Factor-Druk printing house, killing seven people and injuring 22. Source: Vivat CEO Yuliia Orlova Details: Orlova posted a letter explaining how Ukrainians and the international community can help the printing house. "Please share and spread the word about this tragedy to the world – about how the enemy is destroying Ukrainian books and culture, attempting to disrupt the development of our nation. Support from all corners of the world is currently vital for us. We are witnessing how Russian society, demonstrating its low level of development, destroys what constitutes European values. We are confident that this tragedy will not leave any resident of the civilised world indifferent, as history has repeatedly shown: the destruction of books is often followed by moral decay," the publisher said.ALT
How can we help the printing house? Stop cooperation with any Russian entities. Raise awareness of Russian crimes against Ukraine, especially those against our cultural heritage. The bombing of this publisher is an enormous loss to Ukrainian-language literature and culture. Ukrainian-language books and materials are already more difficult to acquire (especially outside of Ukraine), and Faktor-Druk was, as far as I'm aware, the largest publisher of Ukrainian-language books in the world. Considering that Russia has been doing everything in their power to erase both Ukraine's language and culture from existence, I'm fairly certain this was intentional.

The loss of this publisher, along with the deaths of countless Ukrainian writers, poets, and academics over the course of the last two and a half years, shows the direct and tragic toll this war has had on Ukrainian language creatives.

The current situation in Kharkiv is ghastly. This city of 1.5 million people is being bombed daily, leading to massive civilian casualties. This weekend, Russia struck a hardware hypermarket (think a Home Depot or Lowes) in the middle of a Saturday afternoon with a missile. This was right around the same time Faktor-Druk was destroyed.

I write this not to make you feel guilty or helpless in a world full of horrors, but simply to stress that the ongoing genocide and destruction of Ukrainian culture and language continues to this day, even though it has been replaced in the news by newer horrors. Please continue to support Ukraine and Ukrainian sovereignty.

Also, please continue to send donations to Ukrainian NGOs - Razom above is an excellent one, and here are some others that I can personally vouch for:

NovaUkraine - Ukrainian-American organization that operates primarily out of California; most of their funding goes to relief work in Ukraine

United Help Ukraine - another Ukrainian-American organization in the DC area; they also provide a significant amount of relief support to Ukraine

Come Back Alive - Ukrainian NGO that provides critical support for the Ukrainian military and civilian defense forces

Superhumans Center - Ukrainian NGO that provides prosthetics for Ukrainians who have been injured in the war. Due to the last two years, Ukraine is rapidly becoming a place at the cutting edge of prosthetic technology, but the need vastly outstrips the availability of care

There are so many amazing NGOs doing incredible work in Ukraine - this is just a small sampling. It is far better to donate to Ukrainian or diaspora NGOs than to the large international NGOs - much of the relief from the larger organizations doesn't reach the front lines, and most of it stays in Poland. Meanwhile, Ukrainians and the Ukrainian diaspora know the country and are far more able to go into conflict areas to provide support.

A final note - Ukrainians are incredibly resilient. I have no doubt that they will establish another place to publish Ukrainian-language books further from the front lines; the speed at which this country pivots after whole-scale destruction is honestly astonishing. But they can't do this without the help of the world - so please continue to support Ukraine!

I was reading some AquKane shippers say something about how they don’t understand AquaKana, and why the writers and directors keep clearly pushing Kana towards Aqua when they barely share any chemistry. Whereas, in their belief, his relationship with Akane is more honest, deeper, whatever. I’m not here to argue about that. But I get where they’re coming from. And the simple explanation is this:

It’s because this whole story was written for Arima Kana.

I’ve seen some Youtubers talk about how this whole story was meant to be fulfillment for Ruby/Sarina’s dream to become the next great Idol, something about Amaterasu favoring her.

And that’s near what I thought of it. But I really think if the God of Entertainment wanted to bless a child with cancer a second life as the world’s great idol, they’d also give her a great singing voice, y’know?
