Hi! I haven't seen you post on here in a while, and I just wanted to say that I hope you're doing okay! I love your blog, by the way. It's one of my favorites. :) 💜

I’m doing well. I’m kind of in that stage of life where I’m just confused about things and lacking motivation to do anything lol. Just trying to figure everything out.
The simple answer as to why I haven’t been on here is that I haven’t felt like updating my blog. It’s not that I don’t enjoy it anymore. Believe me, I’m far too addicted to this site to drop it lol.
I think it’s just hard being part of a fandom that hardly ever has new and fresh content. It kind of gets stale reblogging the same old posts from years ago. As far as BTR goes, I’m still actively a fan of their solo projects, but there’s just nothing to blog about, and there’s maybe a handful of people to enjoy what there is with.
It’s just a personal problem, really. I’m super particular about the way I do things. I like having my blog post in a set schedule, and I don’t want to scrap the way I have it set up and make it into a clustered mess of other things. I’ve already stretched it into becoming a multi-fandom blog because of the lack of content and enjoyment I get from it. I like everything tagged, neat, and just enough balance of my other interests without being too overwhelming, but since there’s no new BTR content to keep it that way, it’s just not what I want it to be.
If I could just scrap that mentality, I would, but I’m too attached to this username and this blog to just dump it. I moved some of my more active interests into separate blogs because I didn’t think they fit here.
I don’t know, really. I’ve invested a lot into this blog and the community (or what’s left of it) that I don’t feel like abandoning it is the right answer, but completely changing it up isn’t really want to do with it either.
For now at least, this blog will stay. I’d like to keep it active, but I don’t know how soon that will be. I just need to figure out what I want to do with. But don’t worry, I’m usually still lurking here anyway lol.
Funny enough, I actually wrote a similar post like this a while ago. I was also considering leaving my blog then, but I came back. So who knows. There’s still a chance this feeling will pass like it did last time. We’ll just have to wait and see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
