Oh? What's that? You would have been leading the resistance in 1940's Germany and hiding as many Jews as you could in your attic?

So then you want to protect immigrants here? No you won't do that because you think it's a good thing? Okay wow, uh... How about trans people, that's another 1% minority being scapegoated and demonized? Not them either huh? You also think that is good. Hm.

How about a 30 year old white suburban woman? That's historical been a red line for y'al... No? She's gay so actually she's a terrorist and you think it's good?

Cool.

My “favorite” version of this is the person with multiple AR-15’s who says their ready to throw down if the government tries to take over. And is also enthusiastically cheering the use of armed force on “those” people.

Congress is now considering the appropriations bill for the Department of Homeland Security, whose funding runs out at the end of January.

Call your members of Congress and tell them to vote NO on any bill that increases ICE's funding.

Please demand that the DHS appropriations bill prohibit ICE and Border Patrol agents from carrying guns and that it unambiguously declare that agents do not have absolute immunity under the law if they harm civilians.

Also tell them that any bill must restrict ICE and Border Patrol’s ability to conduct dragnet arrest operations and target people based on their race, language or accent. And the bill must clarify that ICE agents are liable under civil and criminal law if they harm civilians.

Do this as soon as you can.

To reach your representative or senator, call the U.S. Congressional Switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

Tell them the state and city where you live. They will connect you to any member’s office.

1 AM CONSPIRACY TIME

  • The original 147 Pokemon came from Mew (Porygon, Ditto, and Mewtwo excepted on account of being artificial (I believe in the "Ditto are failed clones" theory))
  • Everything else came from Terapagos Terapagosing and/or space
  • Humans are descended from Fallers
  • The fabric of reality is HANGING ON BY THREADS (see: Hyperspace Lumiose, Area Zero, Ultra Space, Hisui space-time distortions, Ultimate Weapon multiverse split, etc etc etc)
pixelartpeach

Image ID: A tag that reads "#What are fallers?" End IDALT

Okay, so Sun and Moon's main plot had to do with these things called Ultra Wormholes:

Image ID: A rainbow-tinted wormhole tearing through reality, cracks spreading out from it like shattered glass. End IDALT

Two things come out of those.

Ultra Beasts, which are not-Pokemon that are crazy strong and almost never the type you expect them to be, are the main thing.

Image ID: Nihilego, a ghostly, jellyfish-like Pokemon with no face, looking like it's wearing a hat. End IDALT

What type do you think this is?

Did you guess Rock/Poison? Because it's Rock/Poison! And it parasitizes humans!

Image ID: Mother Beast Lusamine, a human that's been parasitized by a Nihilego. End IDALT

Ultra Beasts live in Ultra Space, which is what Ultra Wormholes connect to. It looks like this.

Image ID: The player riding on Lunala, a lunar bat-like Pokemon, as it surfs through a maze of wormholes and space. End IDALT

See all those wormholes? Those all connect to different worlds.

Fallers are, colloquially, humans who have been to Ultra Space. The player character is a Faller. The main bad guy is a Faller. Her accomplice is a Faller. Her daughter is a Faller.

Being a Faller means that whenever Ultra Space spits out an Ultra Beast, they read your weird, screwed-up aura and think that YOU are a portal back home, so they'll tear through anything to try to pull that portal out of you. The International Police once used Fallers as bait, and it got one killed. I'm not joking.

The thing is though, all of those people I mentioned are Fallers by CHOICE. They dove into Ultra Space of their own accord, and they got out with the help of Solgaleo/Lunala.

Most Fallers aren't that lucky. Ultra Wormholes grab them, and then spit them out into the Pokemon World with no memories.

Image ID: Anabel, a Frontier Brain in the Hoenn Region. She has short lavender hair and wears a matching suit. End IDALT
Image ID: Anabel, an Interpol agent in the Alola Region. She has lavender hair and wears a black suit. End IDALT

These are both Anabel. More importantly, these are the SAME Anabel.

The one on the left is from Emerald. She was a top trainer in the Battle Frontier.

The one on the right is from Sun/Moon. She's an Interpol agent and Faller with no memory. Hoenn, her home region, does not HAVE a Battle Frontier in this dimension.

People fall through time and space sometimes. Pokemon has a built-in isekai mechanic. It happens.

ghostglaceon

this is an amazing theory, but i need you to explain why all the other pokemon came from terapagos??

pixelartpeach

Okay, so initially it was a jab at "haha, Professor Oak thinks there's only 150 Pokemon" BUT

  • We see Terapagos' power make a Milotic appear. Just a normal Milotic.
  • Every region has at least SOME Kanto Pokemon. By virtue of how Pokemon generations work, this is impossible in the reverse. On top of this, there are some Pokemon that have never been spotted outside of their home regions (Glameow, Blitzle, most starters, etc)
  • On the OTHER hand, though, there are duplicates that should not exist. Why are the Lake Guardians accessible in Unova? Why are there multiple copies of the Regis? Why are there Galarian regional forms of the legendary birds? What about the whole Dynamax Legendary repeatable path thing that ISN'T shiny-locked?
  • On the topic of Pokemon that should not have duplicates: Mewtwo. That thing is an experiment by Rocket. How is he EVERYWHERE.
  • But, to a lesser extent, that goes for the less-than-sensical 'dex entries. Kadabra was a child consumed by his own IQ? But we see it evolve from Abra. Ghost types are the product of death? Then why can my Gengar and Gardevoir have an egg together?
  • Constant power creep. Every region is stronger than the last. Every region has more moves than the last. You look at a Skeledirge and you tell me that it's mechanically comparable to a Typhlosion.
  • Designs shifting. You know how you can tell there's been a gradual change in how Pokemon look between the current Gen and Gen 1? Starters are less chonky and more bobblehead doll? Yeah.
  • Whatever was going on with Sinnoh's baby Pokemon. Oh, a Snorlax makes and egg and it makes another Snorlax, unless☝️you give it a Lax Incense.
  • Where did the Fairy type come from? For that matter, where did the Dark type?
  • Conflicting legends. What do you MEAN the God Of All Things is in Sinnoh Specifically. The Tapus don't answer to Arceus. Xerneas and Yveltal are forces of nature, you would think the God Of All Things would have life/death as its domains. Who controls volcanoes, Entei, Groudon, or Volcanion? And why are none of them found on the volcanic region of Alola? WHAT DO YOU MEAN REGIDRAGO HAS THE POWERS OF EVERY DRAGON POKEMON EVER.
  • Seriously, Regidrago and Regieleki look like Paradox Pokemon already.
  • WHY CAN YOU GET AN EGG THAT CONTAINS THE GOD OF TIME/SPACE/REBELLION
  • For that matter, why can you CATCH any of the gods without their respective domains instantly being thrown out of whack?
  • You look at Meltan/Melmetal and tell me that thing wasn't Terapagos'd in from the Pokemon Go dimension.

It probably isn't just a 1-to-1 "oh, the Kanto dex is the original." Zigzagoon probably just lives here, and Voltorb probably doesn't. Kadabra specifically feels like a double-paradox if that dex entry is to be believed. But if it's been going on for at least the past 3000 years (as per AZ's lifespan), modern science would never be able to tell who came first.
