Alright guys. As you can see I did have me a bit of a Peter parker Spring. I think I was fully binging fics of him from like...Jan to July. I truly went all in on him actually it was crazy. Then the heat of Summer hit me hard in July and I went on the deepest Jella binge of my life. It was crazy actually. I got my heart ripped out of my chest in a way that actually damaged me for a couple of weeks. (This is your friendly reminder to read the tags of every fic you read EVEN IF IT'S THE SECOND IN THE SERIES AND THE FIRST ONE WAS FINE.) I swear to god it went from sweet heartwarming teenage romance to everyone i love dying graphically while the narrative repeatedly beat all the survivors for daring to care about each other.
Death before inaction is a fucking spectacular fic that I think everyone even mildly interested in spiderman should read. In short it involves a mcu age difference accurate Peter Parker still doing his spiderman thing but way earlier in the timeline, like before Cap even comes out of the ice, and being a long suffering parentified mentor figure the other heros. It's a wonderful exploration of Peter Parkers core personality and a fascinating fuckery of age roles.
Creche to command I've already recommended a few times but truly if you like my writing you'll like this fic.
@ericaschall is a wonderful podficer, whose voice and tempo are so soothing to me. I've been relistening to her cover of Rough Day for years, like i've truly lost count of how many times. And her soap/ghost fics lulled me to sleep during the long months i was working 5am morning shifts and had to be asleep by 8pm. She is lovely and you should check her out.
