Hi flyingcatstiel :) I found your blog through an archived version of the destielfanfic ficrec-blog - hope it's alright to write to you out of the blue.
I was wondering if you know anything about the beloved destielfanfic-blog suddenly disappearing from tumblr? I think I visited it last week if not later, so it must be pretty recent... I hope it's possible to restore and hasn't been deleted for good 🫣
Also I want to thank you and the other mods for all the work you've been putting into the site. It has been much much appreciated for many years now 💙💚
Hello there and thank you for your inquiry and your kind words! I’m devasted and I’ve no idea what exactly happened, but the blog has disappeared. This Sunday I did the usual #archive resource reblog and then wanted to reblog one more post and suddenly that was not possible anymore. The blog was not on my dash.
I’ve contacted tumblr staff and I got their automated response that my message was received. That’s the situation right now. All i can do is to hope for the best and see @staff do some miracles and bring back @destielfanfic back from the unexpected exile/hell/purgatory/the empty/orphaned blog graveyard etc.
I’m tagging some other active destiel fanwork blogs here, follow them for exciting destiel posts. And please reblog this post to get the message out to our followers about sudden disappearance of @destielfanfic blog.
Reminder for when he “saves” it. He was the one who wanted this, and now he gets to be the hero and win favour with young constituents. Don’t give him the credit for fixing his own problem.
