When someone puts MDNI on a post about a minor
✨A gentle lamb bleats in a single call, sweetly, meekly. The wind carries its voice through the fluttering of leaves and over mountain tops, across meadows where baby deer dwell under the shadow of their mothers.
Precious lambs you are, Sweet whispers...✨

Who are The “All Men”, “We”, “Us”, “The Many”, “Our”, in Romans 5?
Romans 5:1
Then being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
Romans 5:2
through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we glory on the hope of the glory of God.
Romans 5:3
And not only so, but we glory also in afflictions, knowing that affliction works out patience,
Romans 5:4
and patience works out proven character; and proven character, hope
Romans 5:5
And the hope does not put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit given to us;
Romans 5:6
for we yet being without strength, in due time Christ died for ungodly ones.
Comment: The “ We” being “ungodly ones” at one time, Christ died for them. John 10:15 They were without strength who were without the Holy Spirit or unsaved. Christ died for them in due time.
John 8:36, Romans 8:8-9, Hebrews 11:6
These “Called Out Ones” by God Matthew 16:16-18, Acts 20:28 Matthew 1:21-23 were once unsaved without strength or in other words without the Holy Spirit dwelling in them unto belief into Jesus Christ; believing the Gospel that
God promises to save His people from their sins conditioned solely on the atoning shed blood of Jesus Christ and His imputed righteousness alone without contribution in effort or work from those unconditionally chosen from before the foundation of the world that He represented in His perfect life lived, His death and His resurrection.
2 Corinthians 4:3-4, John 10:27 John 3:3,5,8, 2 Corinthians 4:6 Romans 8:28-30 Romans 9, 2 Thessalonians 2:13
Romans 5:7
For with difficulty one will die for a just one, (for perhaps one even dares to die for the sake of the good one),
Romans 5:8
but God commends His love to us in this , that we being yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Comment - The “Us” are His sheep for whom He died and works faith within John 10:15 He does not regenerate all individuals giving them repentance and Faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ John 10:26, Ephesians 2:8-10 Acts 13:48, Romans 8:28-30 Ephesians 1:4,11, Acts 20:28, John 6:45,65, Romans 9:15,18, John 6:29, Acts 5:31, 2 Timothy 2:25
Romans 5:9
Much more then, ( We) being justified now by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Comment- His sheep were justified by His blood who are those found in the book of life. Revelation 20:15 These called ones, He purchased them with His shed blood and they are to whom He reveals the Father to and they are the same as those given by the father to Jesus to be effectually saved. Revelation 5:9, 7:9, Acts 20:28, Romans 9:8, John 6:35-65, Matthew 11:26-30
Romans 5:10
For if while being enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, (We) being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life;
Comment- His promised people that He died for who were given to Him by The Father to be effectually saved were reconciled to God through the death of His Son.
Romans 5:11
and not only so , but also glorying in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we now received the reconciliation.
Romans 5:12
Because of this, even as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, so also death passed to all men, inasmuch as all sinned.
Comment- Here the term “ All Men” is clarifying who the “ We, Us, Our, “Ungodly ones” are. The term “ All Men is clarifying and classifying where the “ We” are taken from which is from every nation, tribe, language and people without distinction and refers only to the “ We” being saved and purchased by the blood of Christ and no one else. The “All Men” is conveying they are taken without class distinction; from every nation tribe language and people.
The whole chapter 5 in Romans is concerning His regenerate elect who were once unregenerate and The reprobate have no relevance to the church since they will never be saved or drawn to Jesus Christ and given repentance and faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Most of the world thinks the Cross of Christ is foolishness who will remain blinded by Satan and his followers. 1 Corinthians Chapter 1
Romans 9:11
So, when the Apostle says death passed to “All Men” in that all sinned he is strictly focusing on believers who were once unregenerate; They are His unconditionally chosen promised people from before the foundation of the world. Ephesians 1:4,11, Matthew 1:21-23, Acts 20:28, Romans 9:8, John 6:37, Ephesians 2:8-10, 2 Thessalonians 2:13
There is no need to refer to the reprobate giving note of their sinning as part of “All Men” since they will never be regenerated from above and be saved. The context in the chapter is those being saved.
The subject people is confirmed and clarified in Romans 5:15,18-19 with the terms “ All men“ paralleled with The Many” were constituted sinners as a finite group and the same “The many” as the same finite group were constituted righteous.
All Men clarifies that The Many are taken from every nation, tribe, language and people without distinction. They are the many who were constituted sinners that will be also constituted righteous. All to the glory of God through Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:13
For sin was in the world until Law, but sin is not charged where there is no law;
Romans 5:14
but death reigned from Adam until Moses, even on those who had not sinned in the likeness of Adam's transgression, who is a type of the coming One .
Romans 5:15
But the free gift shall not be also like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more the grace of God, and the gift in grace, which is of the one Man, Jesus Christ, did abound to the many.
Romans 5:16
And the gift shall not be as by one having sinned; for indeed the judgment was of one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offenses to justification.
Romans 5:17
For if by the offense of the one death reigned through the one, much more those who are receiving the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall rule in life by the One, Jesus Christ.
Romans 5:18
So then, as through one offense it was toward all men to condemnation, so also by one accomplished righteousness toward all men to justification of life.
Romans 5:19
For as through the one man's disobedience the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One the many shall be constituted righteous.
Comment- The “We”, “Us” “ Ungodly ones”, “Our” “ The Many” are composed of and being extracted from “All Men”, all kinds of men from every nation, tribe, language and people without distinction.
The “All Men” in this chapter is referring to “The many” constituted sinners and “The Many” that shall be constituted righteous. Both terms “All Men” and “The Many”are referring to the same group who are the finite focus group in Romans 5 The reason, once again, for utilizing the term “All Men” is too make sure the reader knows that “the many” did not come from a sole particular nation or people, tribe or language. The term “ All Men” does not mean every individual that has ever lived, will live and is living.
See 1 Timothy 2:1-4 and 1 Timothy 4:10 for contextual examples for similar contextual usage and meaning.
“ Who is the savior of “All Men” Jesus is the only savior that saves all that are saved “ Who desires “All Men” to be saved”Meaning “All Men” without distinction of a particular nation, tribe, people or language
There is no other savior under heaven whereby a man must be saved.
If God wanted all individuals saved without exception, they would be saved because God accomplishes all His desires and no one can resist His will. We know most will not be saved. Isaiah 55:11, Matthew 7:13, Proverbs 16:4, Revelation 4:11
So, we know God does not desire every individual to be saved without exception because God accomplishes all His desires. Romans 9:19 Revelation 20:15 Isaiah 46:10 Job 23:13, Romans 9, John 10:26
