ICE left empty-handed. Wooten said he just stood his ground, โ10 toes down.โ
โI was doing my job like Iโm supposed to,โโ Wooten said. โIf you donโt stand for something, youโll fall for anything. I just want to make my family safe because Iโve been here three years.โ

another woman considered a lolcow committed suicide a couple of days ago. i thought i didn’t know who she was but i’ve definitely seen one of her tiktoks being clowned on either on here or reddit once. anyways i go to read the post about her passing, which was in her snark subreddit. very civil comments. then i read some of the posts about her from before the announcement, and people were talking crazy about her, as to be expected from a snark sub. weird seeing the ‘let’s goad mentally unwell people into suicide via internet stalking’ people be devastated at her death. many such cases.
last year a female youtuber (?) popular with people into animals (i think she had a fox farm) also committed suicide after being harassed online for years, and while i was going through reddit threads trying to learn more about her, so many comments were like “she is a bad person and problematic but she didn’t deserve this :(” okay then what do these people deserve. what is the goal of people like this. to make them better? that has never worked ever lol. the internet generation is so strange.
don’t get me wrong, i love a little gossip with the girls but i try to keep it private you know? idk. just thinking out loud on the internet.
i recently watched a youtube video on toxic tears’s loser ex jake munro, who is an open nazi and deserves the shame (he’s also become a hot topic :3 within the goth subculture with his make goth great again grift, so naturally i’m invested), but this girl’s other videos were on tiktokers i’ve never heard of in my life and it’s like okay honestly what is anyone gaining from this…… every other day i’m seeing a video titled “the WORST mom on tiktok!!!!!!!” and it’s a different woman every time like lol i know it’s clickbait but these are just random people to me. maybe it’s bc i don’t have tiktok but literally these are strangers with no sway outside of small online circles

Iman is not a number in a breaking news headline, nor an image to be consumed and forgotten. Iman is a child whose childhood was crushed by war before it even began. She suffers from brittle bones; her small body cannot endure falls or cruelty, yet she is forced to live in conditions never meant for a child. While children elsewhere run and laugh, Iman moves in fear fear of another fracture and learns far too early how to live with pain instead of play.
And with the cold, another kind of suffering begins.
Imanโs legs hurt her intensely an unbearable pain that worsens with the harsh winter nights and the freezing tent that protects nothing. The cold creeps into her fragile bones, turning pain into silent tears and nights without sleep. A sick child battling the cold, instead of being wrapped in warmth, instead of resting in a safe bed.
What kind of world accepts a child suffering like this?
