Star Wars: Outlaws fanart, it's been a while since a game has grabbed me this much ❤

I just finished Star Wars Outlaws and wow i loved it so much more than i thought i would?? we have so many good things to chew on, such as

-building a crew/found family and choosing them in the end over everything

-cool droid in a trenchcoat

-amazing little helpful creature companion

-trying to save someone you love even as they're trying to kill you/trying to kill someone you love because you're forced to and pleading with them to save themself even as you blast them down

-cool planets to explore with rewards in every corner of the maps

-Vader jumpscare

-Forgiveness without forgetting past cruelty

-Playing all the different cartels so they all think i'm the best and give me cool cosmetics

-the amount of hurt/comfort or whumpy moments to expand on in this game is unreal - the latter half of the game is so ripe for picking for fics

-the constant question of what freedom really means

-not glorifying the rebels, but comparing them to the crime cartels

-the themes of loss and families of choice is so strong in this one

-YOU CAN PET ALL THE CREATURES!!

Did i struggle with the gameplay? yes. Was there a lot of janky controls (especially with the speeder)? also yes. Would i recommend this to anyone who loves star wars and the tropes of h/c or found family? 100%

Today’s fanart frenzy piece is inspired by In Too Deep by hurricane @skyfallscotland. Have you read it? I’m pretty sure it was the first modern AU I read and I absolutely loved it. Olympic swimmer Xaden is just… sigh.

This is my take on a scene that lives rent free in my brain where Violet strips down and joins Xaden in the pool at his Paris apartment to talk to him about anxiety. It’s just such a lovely moment.

I’m loving this @fanartfrenzy challenge to help me learn how to translate my painting skills to an iPad and figure out procreate! Still learning… it’s not perfect, but hey, at least it’s not AI.

Actually you SHOULD make problematic content. You SHOULD explore dark or taboo topics. You SHOULD have a space where you can cope with your traumas or explore sensitive topics in a way that doesn't hurt anyone.
