The beginning of a lineless digital comic about Rain World on a black background. The text looks like it was cut out from an article, with white backgrounds and neat, typed text. The first part shows the shadowed shape of Saint, their eyes and markings bright in the darkness but otherwise obscured. Text says, "Men of faith tell us the afterlife is for eternity". A small, dark silhouette of watcher stands, back to the viewer. Text says, "but is it possible to keep your sanity for eternity?" The next part shows the symbol for Ripple 1. Text says, "A day passes in the void." Then, Ripple 2. Text says, "A month." Ripple 3. "A year." Ripple 4. The text is starting to overlap with the symbols. "Two." Ripple 5. "Five." Ripple 6. "Ten." Watcher is curled in the darkness, barely lit by some unseen light, hands brought to their face and covering one eye. They stare at the viewer with a haunted look. Text says, "Is this an eternity?" Then, the symbol for Ripple 6. "Twenty years." Ripple 7. "A hundred years." Finally, the symbol for max Ripple. It is drawn larger, sprawling most of the width of the image. A small watcher stands in one of the circles and looks up. Text says, "A thousand years."

A continuation of the comic. Watcher is in a closed shelter, curled up tightly with their eyes unseen. They are made of negative space. Text says, "I've sat in this room for a million years now". Then, it shows Watcher's food bar. It is mostly full, only missing one pip. The text continues, "entertaining the same thoughts," Next, there is karma. Specifically, the circle, line, triad, and karma 10 given by echoes. The lower karma expands back from karma 10, getting darker as it gets further away. Text says, "pondered the same questions," Then it shows the light of ascension at the bottom of the void sea. The shapes of many different slugcats swim through the darkness, all heading towards a light that then absorbs them. Two figures, one tall and one short and pudgy, stand closer, brighter than the rest, the shorter one holding out a hand. Text says, "ruminated on every mistake in my life...anguishing over them for centuries." There is a bed of karma flowers. They are of varying sizes, but all are glowing. "A billion years now." Further into the flowers, it says, "Double that." And then lower down, "Now double it again." There is a drop of liquid in the darkness, dripping down towards more of its kind. Ripples spread towards the edges of the image. Text says, "I am still nowhere close to the end of eternity." The next part shows the Prince, a dark slash through where his "face" should be, leaving only a small bit of golden shining through. Tendrils of rot curl around Watcher, pulling them closer to him in an almost-embrace. Watcher hugs back. Text says, "I pray for death". And then, there is rot, pustules of it growing in the dark, tendrils curling around to look almost like ripples. Karma flowers grow from the center of them. "but it never comes."

A continuation of the last image. Watcher sits, looking towards the camera. Text covers their eyes; "just me," And they are laying down, the text shielding their eyes again; "and my thoughts,". They have a karma flower in their hands now, looking at it with their ears pinned back, still covered by text saying, "and my mistakes,". They hold a spear, looking down at it and holding it uncertainly, their eyes covered again, "and my insecurities,". They crouch on the ground as if about to be sick, legs braced around them and ears as far back as they will go, head bent. Golden sparks fly up and away from where they look, but their eyes still cannot be seen; "and my regrets," And then there is nothing. Only a vast negative space. Finally, it says, "and my loneliness."

A continuation of the last image. It shows the setting of Gourmand's ending, in the hollow between the roots of trees. Danglefruit hangs from the ceiling. Text at the top of the image says, "Somewhere, in another dream,". There is a black slugcat, seemingly an adult, smiling and holding a sharp stick. They touch a hand to the wall next to them, just beneath an illustration they drew--one of the illustrations of Gourmand from their campaign, of them tying an explosive spear. Two slugpups sit and watch, one pinkish and one yellowish. Watcher's eyes can be seen in the background, outside the hollow looking in. The text continues, "the version of myself that winked back is sitting on the real beach, happy and content, knowing life is finite,". The next part shows the dark slugcat and Gourmand sitting under a tree. The red leaves drape down around them, thick and stringy. Gourmand gestures slightly as if speaking, looking towards the dark slugcat, who is leaning more against the tree as they listen. The text goes over Gourmand's eyes; "there is no afterlife,". Then, further down, in the roots of the tree, as it goes into negative space; "and happiness is found in the small things around us that we can control." In that negative space, Watcher is curled up. They are brighter than the scene above them, but they aren't watching it. They have their eyes closed and hold Spinning Top's top to their chest. The rest of Spinning Top's toys are scattered around them, some partially obscured by roots. The text finishes; "Happiness has to be fought for."
